Family run, exquisite service and perfectly clean. Feels like home - food is plentiful and delicious.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on a skiing holiday. The staff were really super friendly. The food was exceptional every single night. The beds were really comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We’d highly recommend and definitely stay again.
The spa was an added bonus. They photographs really didn’t do it justice. All the facilities were absolutely brilliant huge big sauna steam room. The swimming pool was gorgeous and the treatment massages were fabulous after a long day skiing and the relaxation areas were perfect and we mustn’t forget the cakes every afternoon when we got back from skiing were fantastic.

Guests are pampered from A to Z. A house of the best class.

Very friendly welcome. Good information. We can highly recommend the hotel. A spa with state-of-the-art swimming pool and sauna.
Culinary we are already pampered at the rich morning buffet. In the afternoon a snack at its best. Dinner starts with an excellent, very rich starter buffet. The main course and dessert is served. What comes out of the kitchen here is just GREAT. Whether it's fish or meat. To the point. There's a master brigade in the kitchen!
The hotel owner personally is on site. A well-rehearsed team cares about the guests.

Never again

Not a 4-star level. Unfriendly boss, poor equipment of the rooms, Poor choice and quality of food, little appreciation, cold water in the swimming pool

Superb hotel

Everything is run like clockwork, very efficient, very professional as well as very friendly. There is a nice, relaxed vibe to this hotel.
The food is amazing.... everything you need for breakfast ( though the coffee was a bit disappointing for some reason and the filter coffee was often lukewarm), and the dinners are a 6 course feast. The soups are incredible and the salad buffet is so fresh. The little tapas style plates of morsels are so elegant and refined as well as tasty. One suggestion though to the hotel is to lay out 2 knives on the table at breakfast .... I found myself with jam flavoured egg and bacon at times from using the same knife!
Travelling solo, I was in a single room.... nothing spectacular but functional with plenty of storage space, a comfy bed, a safe, and a walk in shower in the en-suite. The view from the balcony though was beautiful and scenic.
The swimming pool is lovely and set in a beautiful room. It's about 15 metres long so plenty long enough to get a good work out on each length. Perfect for building up an appetite before breakfast ! The rest of the wellness area also looks very fine though didn't use.
The hotel's location is good. There's a spar supermarket 50 metres away. It's in the middle of Schruns so easy to have a walk round the pretty town. It's about a 3 or 4 minute walk to the train station where many of the various ski buses depart from, and there's another ski bus stop 3 minutes away in the other direction. It's about a 6 to 7 minute walk from the hotel to the local gondola station.
All in all, if you're visiting this area ( my first time in the Montafon area and it surpassed expectations ), I would throughly recommend this hotel. It's superb and I'd certainly go back again.

Very nice, friendly hotel, highly recommended

We spontaneously spent a night in transit at the Hotel Zimba. Very nice, friendly hotel with a cozy bar and a super spacious breakfast area. Room very clean and well maintained. Reception and service very friendly and accommodating. Immediately upon check-in you are asked about possible allergies, regarding gluten-free products you have a nice selection for breakfast.
Conclusion: In this pleasant hotel we will spend a several-day holiday in time.
