Beautiful location 1 min walk from the Lake
Would recommend although we had to go out to eat but that’s fine as there was no options for eating and drinking in the hotel

We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The hotel entrance creates an excellent first impression with a welcoming atmosphere and stylish decor that immediately sets a high standard. The dining experience was outstanding, and the breakfast was particularly impressive, offering a great selection of high-quality food and attentive service.
The only aspect that fell slightly short of expectations was the room itself. While it was clean, comfortable, and perfectly functional, it lacked the character, style, and attention to detail that were so evident in the hotel’s downstairs areas. Compared with the beautiful entrance and dining spaces, the room felt quite basic and somewhat uninspiring. With a little more investment in the room décor and furnishings, the overall experience would have been exceptional.
Despite this minor drawback, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return for the excellent food, breakfast, and welcoming atmosphere.

Disappointing breakfast and little hospitality despite a four-star claim.

At the Stroblerhof Hotel, we were unfortunately disappointed with the breakfast and service. For 25 euros per person, there was fresh fruit, vegetables, and yogurt, but overall, it was just a very simple selection with sliced cheese, some soft cheese, greasy salami, pressed ham, and lukewarm scrambled eggs from a warming container instead of freshly prepared egg dishes. Additionally, there were packaged butter and jam portions, which today, especially regarding waste reduction, seem outdated. The bread and rolls were dry and of low quality, and the buffet was presented rather carelessly overall.
From our perspective, the service did not meet the standards of a four-star hotel: inattentive staff, no warm welcome, and hardly any information upon arrival and departure. Even many three-star hotels today offer a significantly more appealing breakfast and more hospitality.

Welcome to Strobl!

Stayed on coach trip for week.
Given attic apartment loads of space and storage.
Kitchen area downstairs with large living room 2 single beds and 2 settees.
Great views.
Air conditioning units too as really needed with hot temperatures.
Alas the double bed placed so had to crawl backwards into bed. Bit of a gripe if you want loo in night, bang head on ceiling as all beamed!
No storage by bed and awkward to turn off lights too.
First night owner came to welcome party and went round tables to ask if any questions. I needed skimmed milk which he said was no problem they had. Alas at breakfast only one kind of milk and was not skimmed. Also supermarket said they had none either. So no hot drinks for a week at hotel.
Small supply I had used on coach.
Nice pool area when weather good.

Unfortunately unpleasant

We spent two nights in December at this hotel. Welcome was very friendly, only dinner in the hotel restaurant turned out to be a total fiasco.
The chef (boss of the hotel?) humiliated all the guests present by complaining loudly because not everyone had made reservations. He would find it absolute impudence how these guests could order a 3-course meal without reservation. (We had reserved). Some guests left the restaurant immediately. We stayed even though the evening was ruined by it.
The rest of the friendly staff, the simple but clean rooms could not outweigh this unpleasant incident.
Conclusion: We will not book this hotel again.
