Hello, I took advantage of this weekend to take a little getaway to Évora, so I chose this hotel, hellish heat in the city, but the hotel quite pleasant, the rooms clean and the service a 10, what prevented me from giving it 5 points was that the view was of another part of the hotel, in other words, it didn't thrill me knowing the beautiful landscapes that city has and the pool is super small, it was a square in the middle of a garden, they should enlarge it knowing that you can receive many people, I asked how many rooms there were and they told me 90, it seemed like a lot for the small pool, but otherwise, everything good, I loved the white sparkling sangria

Wonderful Stay!

We had a fantastic stay at the Évora Olive Hotel and only wish we could have stayed longer! Our one night there simply wasn't enough time to fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer.
The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the beautiful city of Évora and its many attractions. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and welcoming, with a relaxing atmosphere throughout.
What really stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Overall, this was a wonderful hotel experience, and we were genuinely sad to leave after just one night. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend the Évora Olive Hotel to anyone visiting!

Excellent location/ friendly Service/

Stayed here for 2 nights due to its location, the staff on reception were super friendly and efficient , they even managed to understand and smile when I spoke in Portuguese, love the language but I’m still learning/ our Room was spotless, lovely large comfortable Bed and the Bathroom was perfect/ very powerful Shower, the room also had air conditioning/ a safe/ and a fridge . There was some works going on around the Hotel area but that is out of the control of this establishment. Totally enjoyed the stay in this very Historic area! There is also underground car parking.

Disappointing experience

We stayed at Olive Hotel Évora and unfortunately came away rather disappointed.
There were some positives: the location is excellent for exploring Évora, and a few members of staff were friendly and helpful.
However, the room had clearly seen better days and felt quite tired/poorly finished.
Breakfast was advertised as being served until 10:30am, but at 10:15am I hurried down to explain that my daughter had fainted and would be joining me in just a couple of minutes when she had recovered enough. Rather than showing any understanding, a member of staff abruptly told me we had only five minutes left and started clearing food away. A very average breakfast with terrible coffee and hot items that were stone cold.
The biggest disappointment was the pool. We had hoped to relax by the pool, but the entire garden area was surrounded by incredibly noisy building work - constant loud drilling, shouting, crashing, delivery trucks, etc. While I appreciate that the hotel has no control over neighbouring construction, it would have been courteous to let guests know before arrival so they could make an informed decision about their stay.
Overall, despite the great location, the lack of empathy from some staff, the poor breakfast experience, and the undisclosed building work meant this hotel sadly did not meet our expectations.
