Einen total Singular Aufenthalt
Eine Übernachtung am totaler Inn war eines der wirklich Momente unserer aktuellen Reise nach Schweden. Es ist vollständig exzentrisch und insgesamt charmant. Wir waren begeistert von Alfresco-Dining wie die Motorboote Road, sodass unsere kleine See-Shack zu Toblerone mit den Wellen. Der Sonnenuntergang war reine Magie, und unser Abstieg ins Schlafzimmer zu schlafen war wie krabbelten innen wieder einige tolle, Aquatic gebärmutter. So viele Fische zahlte Besuchen in unserer Fenster! Sie würden Rutsche aus der gelben selbstbesessenheit und Peer durch das Glas in uns, wie viel Wunder hoogtijdagen an unsere menschliche Formen wie wir auf ihre piscine. Wir haben sogar ein paar Stammgästen benannt; sie vielfältig in der Größe von bescheiden (wie man Sie finden in einem Haus Aquarium) zu erheblichen; wir sahen mindestens zwei Pike, gemessen 4 m lang. Sogar unsere Himmlische war etwas Besonderes, tief und erholsam, dank der sanften Strömung von Wasser, Schaukelstuhl wirklicher Festschmaus uns wie Babys. Peter war ein Superlativ Gastgeber, und uns mit reichlich Essen für das Abendessen und das Frühstück am folgenden Morgen.
Die Zimmer sind rustikal; in the Shack, nur einer Kochplatte, ein Latrinenbau, und ein kleiner Schrank. Alles ist Battery-betrieben, da es keine Elektrizität. der Leiter und das führt zu der Schlafzimmer lässt sich als vergleichsweise Potenzial für einige Besucher; es ist ein sehr steiler Anstieg, und erfordert ein bisschen von Upper Arm Stärke. Es ist schwer, sich vorzustellen wie dieses ein Novum in der USA; unser Pech Vorliebe für Rechtsstreitigkeiten sowie Gesetze im Zusammenhang mit der Haftung sind halsabschneiderisch. Wie gesagt, mit gesundem Menschenverstand, die Ideenlosigkeit Inn ist einfach zu navigieren und stellt keine größeren gefahren; es ist einfach nicht für alle.

Super extravagantes Erlebnis, bei Fischen schlafen
Das schwimmende kleine Häuschen ist mitten im See. Oben ist eine Kochstelle und eine Toilette sowie die Luke die nach unten ins Schlafzimmer führt. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, für eine Nacht aber ok. Fische sind an allen Fenstern zu sehen und es schaukelt wenn ein Boot vorbei fährt. Oben um das Häuschen rum gibt es ein schmales Stück auf dem Tisch und zwei Stühle Platz haben, da kann man sitzen und lesen/essen. Leider gab es nur unbequeme Holzstühle und keine wirklich gute Sitzmöglichkeit zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück ist für den Preis eigentlich ein Witz, da es seeeehr Basic ist, das müsste die Hälfte kosten: besser selber was mitbringen. Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank und keine Dusche. Aber ein super Erlebnis, das wir nicht missen wollen. Aber eine Nacht ist genug.

Seen on a you tube video. At 250 balls a night it's a shame how can you get such a good rating? Dirty window, unsanitary cabin. A factory behind with disgusting green water. There is none of the safety equipment apart from two poor vests.

Best night's sleep ever
We spent one night at Utter Inn.
We thought we would be able to transport ourselves back to Västerås from the hotel but it was too far out for the small rowboat provided. Luckily we had already been to the supermarket and I don't think we missed out on too much sightseeing on land.
Watching the fish through the window was cool. The water is pretty murky, but the fish swim right up to the windows and look in. Would be great if the windows were more clean - but understand this would be difficult to do at 3m below water level.
It got quite windy overnight and the 'house' rocked a lot and made lots of strange noises, but the weather had calmed down by morning.
Note: The ladder to the sleeping level could be a challenge for some people, especially on the way up.
Overall it was an enjoyable and unique experience and 1 night was sufficient.

I loved this place - I want one!
The Utter Inn is a floating (anchored) hotel in Lake Mälaren at Västerås in Sweden. The only thing you really need is fine weather (and maybe a bottle of wine), then it is an experience without equal for a relaxing time on your own island (well, two room beach type house on a floating platform).
You are ferried to the Utter Inn on an inflatable - not big or roomy but nippy! As you (try to) step off the boat you know this will be special. There is a small deck surrounding the hotel with a table and two chairs, Ideal for sitting in the sun and watching the boats sail by and feeding the fish. Also good for dining - the simple breakfast is waiting for you in a chilled bag. You can order dinner too which is extra and consists of a rather nice takeaway delivered to your hotel (yup, that inflatable again). If you want a bit of fun there is a small inflatable and life vests provided. Paddle away to your hearts content! There is even an island to row to if you are adventurous but the currents can slow you down a bit!
The bedroom is 3m down under the lake water with small but comfortable beds, and picture windows on all four sides so you can fish watch. The lake is a bit murky so fish spotting is fun as you have to be patient (sometimes). There is no electricity - There are battery powered bedside lamps, and lots of candles! Upstairs (well, rungs really) a toilet is a welcome feature, as is the gas ring. A kettle, fresh water, tea, coffee and some other stuff is provided, as are cutlery and plates/cups. No shower, or wash basin, or even mirrors! Reflect on your inner self I believe is the intention!
If you want to pop to the shops you need to arrange to be picked up and ferried there and back. But why would you want to? You will be on your own paradise retreat (if the weather is good). The way to the bedroom is down a ladder in a circular tube which has a heavy trap door lid which is part of the floor in the upstairs room. Not easy to open from inside, so try it out before the boat leaves! If you leave the trap door open there is a BIG hole in the upstairs room. Good fun skirting around it to get to the loo!
Lots of people come close by with boats, yachts, speedboats etc, and even the ferry comes pretty close. All friendly and waving, and causing waves which we loved as they sloshed over the decking. The Utter Inn does move with the waves so boats and wind are fun as you totter around!
If you like to sit in the sun (hopefully you get some) with a glass of wine, then bring your own.
Sitting in the sun, with our dinner, and a bottle of wine. Waving at the passing sailors and feeding the fish, followed by a leisurely row around your kingdom and then bed sleeping with the fishes takes some beating. I want one of my own!
