Amazing sunsets!

Chalet Bärgblick is a cozy place in a wooden house, which is rented for travelers. The upper floors are occupied by a family of farmers, who will meet and warmly greet you in Grindelwald. The apartment is specifically recommended for the families with kids! First of all, children can see different animals like rabbits, cows, goats very close. Secondly, you can get as much fresh milk as you wish in the mornings or evenings.
We spent Easter holidays in Grindelwald and left very happy that we have chosen this place. The house is located on the hill, so be prepared to walk up, if you do not have a car, since the last bus from Grindelwald is at 18:45. From the other side, the chalet is a bit remote but you can see beautiful mountains on the background. They are specifically spectacular at sunset! The apartment is equipped with everything you may need. It has a bath, fireplace, comfy sofa, sitting place outside, board games, coffee machine, dishwasher, etc. You would get a visitor card on arrival that can be used to ride in the buses for free, which is very convenient!

The best chalet of Switzerland

Simply the best ...
I am defiantly visiting marliane and family soon.
Typical Swiss style farm with modern amenities ... excellent combination
Worth every penny spent.
1) excellent view of entire grindleward
2) nearby to grund station (there are two railway station @ grindleward)
3) ask for farm fresh milk , it's one of a kind.
4) Must stay at chalet barblick - to know Swiss people and their lifestyle

Simply perfect!

I wish I could have stayed more...
The chalet is perfectly located, in a calm part of Grindelwald. It has everything you need.
Marianna and her family are adorable and very helpful.
Take sometime to know them and the farm! Yes! It is a farm and they produce cheese!

Perfect

It is a farm that actually produces milk and cheese. The apartment is brand new and very well decorated. Has all the things you will need and more. Marianna and Lorenz are genuine and nice people. Book soon, before they realize they should be charging much more for the room.

Modern apartment in traditional chalet farm-house in superb location

Comfortable, cosy, spacious, well-equipped apartment for 2 in superb location for hiking, skiing and just generally enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. Working-farm run by delightful, helpful couple Lorenz and Marianne. Quiet, peaceful position but within easy walking distance of shop, restaurant and town-centre of Grindelwald. Easy access to ski-slopes and train or gondola up to Männlichen/Kleine Scheidegg etc for skiing, walking, sight-seeing. Plenty to do and see in this beautiful area at any time of the year. Highly recommended.
