Charming and friendly and effective

From Geneva I often travel to the region for business. I have spent several nights a week during the past 2 months. I can only speak highly of the Hotel de la Lande and it’s friendly service and warm hospitality during COVID. I strongly recommend this hotel for both business and vacation purposes.

Disappointed...

Bright room but tired bedding....for lovers of firm bedding, pass your way.
Bathroom with shower and tiny toilet made for a small person.
The hotel was very friendly.
Poor value for money for breakfast....no fresh fruit, tables not cleared, dry bread.
However the hotel restaurant is very nice and friendly

The coffee will wait...

I sat on the terrace with the intention of drinking coffee. I was the only customer. I waited for 20 minutes! and left angry without any waiter deigning to leave the restaurant to take my order. Whether I was seen or not is of no importance. The least you can do when a restaurant has a terrace is to watch from time to time to see if customers are seated, or what?? I could hear the waiters joking inside, but none came out. And I hate having to go find a waiter inside, that's why I left. So bad experience for me.

OK for a few days / but not for a week / something is missing

The whole stay was fine. That means the rooms, the breakfast and two dinners. But somehow the hospitality and warmth were lacking. The only bright spot was the waiter in the restaurant in the evening. It seems to me that a really beautiful house is still living off its substance. It's a shame. That's fine for a few days, but for a week I expect a bit more professionalism in dealing with the guests.

Swiss mountain hotel in need of a refresh

We arrived late, after the kitchen had officially closed and they kept the kitchen open but for pizza only. The pizza tasted like it had come from the freezer and cost way more than it was worth. This was disappointing. The hotel all works but is in need of refurbishment. The staff were helpful and friendly, but overall this was not my favourite.
