GOOD BUT WITHOUT AC

The TAILORMADE hotel is located in an industrial/commercial area of STANS, the ground floor is used as a depot for the local bus company, next to a MERCEDES workshop and various dealerships and building supply stores, it is located a few meters from the highway exit, the center of STANS can be reached by bus or with a pleasant flat walk. In front of the hotel is a restaurant in the local gas station.
The rooms are spacious, clean, bathroom without a bidet, not very large. The furniture is essential but functional, electrical outlets near the bed also with USB.
But after paying for one night, alone, a whopping 188 euros, to my great surprise there was no air conditioning, only a pedestal fan. But how is it possible that a hotel still doesn't have air conditioning today, by now almost as much of a must as a bathroom. Furthermore, as seen in the photo on the website, the windows are practically covered by a glass barrier that makes air circulation difficult. No restaurant, breakfast not purchased (extra after the 188.00).

Very nice three-star hotel with spacious, clean, and well-maintained rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, allowing us an early check-in and warmly welcoming our cat. The hotel offers excellent value for money and is a perfect choice for an overnight stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Happened upon this hotel as we were looking for somewhere to stay not too far from Lugano and we were really pleasantly surprised. The hotel was right off the highway and easy to get to with free parking on site. There's a gas station with a well stocked store across the street that we took advantage of. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The room we had was quite spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and the windows were large and made the room quite bright. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are on a road trip through Switzerland like we were.
