Stay at Terra Lodge
Thanks to Franck for his hospitality, advice and efficiency.
The setting is very nice and relaxing in a garden bathed in flowers with swimming pool and deckchairs facing the ocean.
Very good cuisine, we enjoyed lobsters and camerones a delight.
Many thanks to Abdou, Bineta, Zeyna ,Amina for their kindness and availability.

A beautiful garden is not enough
M bour is an ugly, dirty, poor, dusty city.
The resort is located on a beach that is not too clean and, above all, dangerously full of glass. Going out for a walk, a few meters from the resort begins a long stretch of beach that is really a dump: diapers, plastic, fish residue, glass etc.... if you dare to continue you arrive at a fishing village, where poorly fed and not too clean children meet you hoping for a gift.
In this context is the land lodge, with the disproportionate price of 147 euros per night with breakfast. The price is disproportionate considering the place where it stands, in fact, and the general context.
We stayed 17 nights half board. Definitely too many, but unfortunately, as soon as we arrived we were asked for the balance. Breakfast is little varied and the menu repetitive.
Before leaving there had been an email exchange with the owner to define a number of details, including of course the price. Among other things there was pick up and drop off at Dakar airport included in the price. Too bad that, at the end of the stay, the owner (never seen in the 17 days and never even showed up by email to know how our stay was going), told the employees to invoice me for the trip to the airport. Fortunately I had kept the emails and, raising my voice, I got not to pay for something already paid. By the way, reading other comments on booking, it seems not the first time.
In summary: bad value for money, non-existent owner and unable to treat customers, attempt to charge for a service already paid.
The only positive note: Abdu, the handyman boy is really a treasure. Very good gardeners who deal with flowers and green space and good cooks who do everything possible to please everyone.
Certainly we will not return and, above all, we understood why during our stay there was never a "sold out".

Disappointed
The hotel staff, caretaker, receptionist and waitresses, are all very kind, smiling and helpful. Thank you to them for this stay.
Furthermore, the owner of the hotel, Mr Frank, showed bad faith and was very unpleasant. The latter over-billed me the transfer of 50000fcfa (documented proof), in error on his part, I specify since I gave him all the information by phone the night before the transfer.
I would therefore like to inform him so that I can be reimbursed for the difference. I was entitled to derogatory comments that “I will take advantage of the system.” No excuses from him, a very sour tone and a hang-up on the nose to top it off. It is unacceptable and a shame to behave like this with your customers. Very disappointed.
