Charming Hostel with Friendly Staff and Great Location
Hostel Bongo was a place that made my unique days in Belgrade even more special. I found them through a blog written for Tripadvisor's UK page. After reading the reviews on Booking.com and Tripadvisor, I decided to make a reservation. When I arrived at the hostel, I was greeted by a very sweet Italian woman (I am so sorry that I forgot her name), who gave me all the information about the hostel. During this time, we also had a chat, and she was truly a good person. All the staff, volunteers, and guests at the hostel were also very kind. Duchan, Madison, Moncho, the Italian lady whose name I forgot, and the lady who owns a very cute dog named Bojo (if I'm not mistaken). They were all very polite and helpful people. The guests were also very kind; Mike, Alex, and Mr. Satoru, whom I learned had been staying there for a long time, were very nice and kind people. Some days, I wanted to just stay in the hostel and chat with these people, but I couldn't because my time was limited.
The hostel is also very close to Knez Mihailova Street, so it's in a very central location. The common areas in the hostel are quite sufficient. There is a kitchen for you to prepare your meals, but since I tried the food in Belgrade, I almost never used the kitchen. However, since the kitchen is very close to the seating area, it would be good for everyone's comfort to cook only mildly scented meals. Everyone there paid attention to this, which was very thoughtful. Each room has air conditioning, and they provide you with lockers. There is also a very cute garden to spend time in. If I had to say something negative about the hostel, it would be that the bathrooms need to be cleaned a bit more frequently. But don't let this mislead you, the bathrooms are quite clean, it's just that I have an obsessive attitude about this.
My entire experience in Belgrade was unique, and this hostel was one of the most important factors that made this experience special. I loved the dog named Bojo, but I think he didn't like me much :(
If you are someone who can adapt to the beautiful atmosphere here and won't disrupt the spirit of the place, I definitely recommend making a reservation.

My favorite place to stay in Belgrade
Overall, I stayed at this hostel 3 times over a period of 3 years. This is simply all that you can ask for when traveling. It has got nice, comfy beds, spacious rooms that are not overcrowded with bunk beds and the shared TV lounge is great as well. Bathrooms are super clean and kept to a high standard, and the place has got a central location only 3 mins walk from Knez Mihailo's St. Not to mention spontaneous parties that are thrown in the garden area every once in a while (although always finished before the bedtime). Can't wait to go back.

Awesome hostel in Belgrade
Went to meet up with a friend I met from a previous trip during my summer travels for a few days, after he left I would up extending my stay. Great location and amazing staff. Extremely helpful and gave some great tips on places to explore (the Bigz building). Wound up going to exit fest for the week and to beocoin to explore an abandoned mansion. They helped keep my stuff safe at the hostel the weekend I was away.

My only home in Belgrade
This place is amazing, the people running are fantastic and the location is perfect.
I really miss it already.
I stayed here for 4 days and wish I stayed longer. Leaving was pretty hard because you get attached to the staff very quickly. They are kind, knowledgeable and super fun. The hostel is very clean and has a home feeling to it which I love. When you're here you fel like you're with family, they make you feel that way. It is super super clean and is perfectly located in the center of everything.
I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else. I love this hostel and can't wait to come back.

Formidable hostel
i have been to this hostel For first time ...every thing was perfect and coordinate moreover there are free coffee and chocolate to be served that u never find it any where else .....friendly staff who you enjoy to be accompanied
