Overall, the combination of a comfortable Executive Suite, thoughtful family-friendly amenities, convenient location, and outstanding service made this an exceptional stay. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to families visiting the area.

Did we stay at the same hotel reviewed here?
If you are prone to migraines, this is not the place for you. They pump the lobby full of a strong floral fragrance that knocks you in the face as soon as the lobby doors or elevator doors open.
The door to our room didn't fully clear the floor, so as you push it open, it required a little extra effort as it scraped the stone floor. Not a great start. The room itself looked like a throwback to the 60s, and the bathroom looked like the next earthquake would take it out: the sink was cracked and falling apart in multiple areas, the wall was cracked, the tub had some mysterious black spots and a smear, and the shower curtain smelled pretty foul after two days. The air conditioning was more like a fan; everything in the room felt slightly damp from the humidity. I moved my earbud case and saw it had left a patch of moisture on the table.
The stone floor, as well as the countertops, showed splotches and spots that made me not want to walk on it with bare feet. I've posted a photo of the counter, which I wiped down with a towel, with zero improvement.
There was a bottle of watery liquid soap that was allegedly body soap and shampoo, but it generated next to no lather and ran out after the third day. The shower had two settings: delicate spray and flowing faucet. And the toilet seat was too big for the toilet.
The phone rang, but the cord fell out of the handset as I picked it up, and had to be held in place. The TV remote didn't work, so we called down for new batteries and asked them to bring a new phone. They brought fresh batteries for the remote but it still wouldn't turn on – I then discovered it had been unplugged. It had also been unplugged from the network, and even while plugged in, it only picked up about 5 channels.
If traveling with children, you will appreciate the playground in the lobby. If you're traveling for peaceful time with your partner, you will not appreciate the shouting and running in the hallways at all hours.
We had a king bed that would bounce in ripples every time one of us moved, which was not conducive to a good night's sleep.
WiFi service was terrible, and cell service wasn't much better.
In the end, we paid about $150 U.S./night, which may have been ok for Singapore, but the location was not particularly close to any attractions, and the irritations put a damper on the trip. The breakfast was decent, but not great. I do not recommend staying here, and I'm perplexed how it is rated so highly.

Double check your room size on booking
On Arrival we we informed that we may want to up grade are room due to the size. We were shown a picture of a box room with a raised bed. No where to store your clothes. We were advised that an upgrade would be $50 a night.
I stated this was not the room I was shown by the travel agent and I had booked a queen room. I was told this was a queen size room and I needed to speak to my travel agent about that. We refused but on getting to the room we're gob smacked by actually how small the room was.
There was 4 coat hangers on a rail on the wall for storage, that was it! A desk with chair that was pointless. Draws would of been a better use of space.
The bathroom was clean and modern. Felt like you were showering on the toilet. On going to the toliet you then couldn't wash your hands in the bathroom. You had to go into the living/bedroom for that. Very unhygienic.
The hotel room had no real issues scuffed and needed some TLC.
We didn't really use the hotel facilities. The bar area was shut most of the time for functions.
We were told we could freshen up on the 5th floor in the shower area on arrival. That was depressing and had ants everywhere in there.
The hotel is in a good location. Close to the MRT, the Tiong Bahua area and a short walk to China Town area. Just under 1k walk. There is a 7 11 right next to the hotel which is handy.

Family holiday - 8 nights family room 2 queen size beds.
All of the staff we friendly and helpful, special thanks to Kelvin and Iskander from the Waterfall lounge and Sarah at reception.
Location was excellent especially when planning a trip to Sentosa island as a bus (123) pass the hotel every 15 minutes to the island, easy transport options ie MRT located close by (Havelock).
