Nice room with great view - good location for hiking in the High Tatras. Restaurant food wasn’t particularly great so eat somewhere else if you can!

Ok hotel in tiny vilage, area quiet but there is literally nothing nearby... All food, gas and supermarket needs Have to be gotten in Poprad 15 to 20 minutes drive away.
Rooms super plain and spartan.
Towels were not change daily, not sure why...
Breakfast was average.
Overall if You want to send a night in this area there are options in Poprad or in Strebske Pleso, there is No real reason to Look eksewhere...

Very nice clean and welcoming

The staff were friendly and helpful, you can also order a massage at the hotel we tried. The breakfast was nice as well as dinner and the food in the hotel restaurant generally. Very clean hotel, room was very spacious and generous with a balcony and the bed comfortable. We even had a bathtub in the room. The warderobe was spacious so I give plus points for it :) There is a small wellness with the option to enjoy it in private since you order the place for a specifi timeslot. There is hot tub and I think sauna as well. There is no swimming pool in the place. The staff are very kind and we enjoyed our visit in hotel Avalanche.

Weekend in dead season

The room was large, the food tasty, wellness was relax, single malt Irish and Pilsner in the bar, what other do you need in a rainy november Saturday after a tour in High Tatras? Very nice staff? You get it! I recommend this place to everybody. If you don't like noisy wooden construction floors, don't go there, but I think, it's the spirit of mountain hotels.

Nice clean hotel

Nice clean hotel, good value for money. Food is good. Views from the room were amazing.
Only criticism is that the walls are very thin so I could here the people in the next room. Thankfully it’s an active area so everyone goes to sleep early and wakes up early.
