A top address in Bled where Welcoming comes first!
There is a huge range of hotels and guesthouses in this town that revolves all around the lake. Just outside the busy center and therefore very quietly located you will find 'Pension Bled' A top address as it turns out. The owner welcomes you. Initially, a little distance between Mr. Necj and ourselves....But that soon disappeared after a good conversation. The rooms are beautiful, very stylish and well decorated., complete with air conditioning (more than welcome in summer days) Also the spacious bathroom has everything you need. There is ample parking in front. Breakfast is in the basement room but also in this cozy room you feel 'Slovenie'. You will find a very rich breakfast buffet, catered for and eggs and bacon are also prepared on request! Mr. Necj serves you at the table for coffee, Tea and eggs. In short, you really have nothing too short here. At the back there is a beautiful garden with swimming pool... ! Yes, we had a good, warm feeling about this immediately. Slovenia embraced us this way. Don't hesitate to book a few nights here when you want to explore the area. Ljublijana is only 1.5 hours drive, Lake Bohinj 30 minutes. Mr. Necj likes to slope you with tips for fun excursions and also has the good addresses of good restaurants...

Awesome stay and very good host
A wonderful peaceful location — you’ll find Pension Bled.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner.
The rooms are beautifully designed — stylish, modern, and equipped with everything you could need, including efficient air conditioning.
The bathroom is spacious and fully fitted with all the essentials. Parking is conveniently available right in front of the pension.
Breakfast is served in a charming downstairs room where you really feel the character and atmosphere of Slovenia. The buffet is generous and carefully prepared, and eggs and bacon can be cooked to order. Owner himself takes care of coffee, tea, and egg service, ensuring you’re always well looked after.
Another lovely surprise is the beautiful garden at the back. We immediately had a warm, positive feeling throughout our stay. Slovenia truly embraced us here.
If you plan to explore the region, don’t hesitate to book a few nights. Ljubljana is only about a 1.5-hour drive away, and Lake Bohinj around 30 minutes. He is also happy to share insider tips for great activities and trustworthy restaurant recommendations.
We will definitely re visit the place again.

A gem
Accommodation a little 'away from the center, but in a great location very quiet. Quadruple room with 2 separate rooms (double + 2 single beds) and 2 bathrooms (1 with shower). Very bright because the windows are above the beds and keep the whole wall (with mosquito nets), spotless and new. Upon arrival we were provided with a nice map of the area and the guy gave us directions on what to see and where to eat (very kind). Outside there is a porch with sofas to relax in and parking next to the narrow streets (not at all busy). Breakfast TOP!!! Buffet of sweets, savoury, eggs, yogurt, fruit and hot and cold drinks. Fantastic indeed! Affordable price and adequate to what is offered. Keep it up!!

Great Hotel in Bled
We left there this morning after four days. If you are going to Bled and want a sensibly priced hotel, this is the place to stay. Nejc greets you and gives some great advice on the local area. A lot to take in but keep listening because he knows what you do not. Take from it what you want to choose what suits you and away you go. . They have bikes you can use - I suggest cycling around Lake Bled until the path runs out then return the other way. The breakfast is great with lots of options given the size of the hotel, although not a lot of cooked choices but that was fine with us. The location is in a lovely neighbourhood about a beautiful 15/20 minute walk from Lake Bled.

Tranquil and cozy atmosphere for a great stay
We spent 4 nights in this lovely place. Nejc, the owner, manages the Pension with perfection. It is situated in a quiet and cozy street in a residential area within walking distance to Lake Bled. You face the countryside and the hills from the back of your windows - and can enjoy the silence and nature of beautiful Slovenia. Breakfast was perfect, and the room was very clean and orderly everyday. The suggestions given by Nejc for hiking and sightseeing were extremely useful. Would certainly come back to this place. Fully recommend!
