Fabulous area and wonderful hotel
The Parador was well signposted and there was a large car park in front of the building. Check in was quick and pleasant and we had two rooms overlooking the Torre de los Alarconcillos. The rooms were a great size and wifi worked well. The downsides were eating in Alarcon - even at 9PM the only restaurant we saw open was the Parador itself although that didn't start serving food until 8:30PM. The town was pretty with some beautiful walks along the gorge and we are already planning a longer stay, using the parador as a base to do some hiking. Breakfast was wonderful, a mix of buffet and cook to order. Overall the staff were great, the room was wonderful and the setting and views from the keep roof just awesome. A fantastic stay.

Best Parador in Spain ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Alarcon is an absolutely amazing village, almost totally surrounded by the Rio Jucar and outlying fortifications. Imensely photogenic. This small Parador is in a stunning building, with amazing ambience, friendly staff and great food. We have stayed in a number of Paradores and this is our favourite. Our Junior Suite in the tower, with its own access to the battlements was a unique experience. Real Spain at its best!

Truly amazing !!!
Wow wow wow !!!!! One of the most stunning castles that I have ever seen, is hidden in Spain. Parador de Alarcón is just amazing and to be able to have a room, in the tower section, for 2 nights, has been an incredible experience :) The staff here has been amazing and there's plenty of hiking areas around and wineries. But the history of this town is truly amazing !!!

Everything is correct.
Very renovated, comfortable, and the staff is very attentive and helpful. There are still some details to address, like removing so many rags from the rooms, using key cards for room access instead of those keys that weigh 300 grams, and improving accessibility to the reception, as there are two flights of stairs.
