WE WILL RETURN WITHOUT A DOUBT

A small hotel but with attention to detail, the staff is very attentive and friendly, and the views are unbeatable. The outdoor terrace just a few meters from the sea is something to remember. The bed was very comfortable.

Charming with a view of the beach

Charming hotel, beautifully renovated and ideally located. It overlooks the seaside promenade directly and the rooms enjoy a very pretty view of the ocean. Beach access is directly through a small wooden gate, which is very pleasant.
The breakfast is exceptional: very hearty, with products entirely homemade by one of the two brothers who own the hotel. He welcomes guests with great kindness, is very attentive to their well-being, and does everything possible to ensure they have an excellent time.

Perfect family stay

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel and experience. We are a family of 4, 2 teenagers, that were traveling Portugal and Spain for the first time for 2 weeks. We came upon this hotel through some google searches, wanting to be on the beach during our Northern Spain portion of the trip. We booked for 5 nights and it was the highlight of our trip.
We got 2 rooms - even during a heatwave, the rooms were comfortable. We only did the breakfast once as we are not big breakfast people - and it was exceptional. Unai is the chef and so attentive anytime we saw him. His little croissants are amazing! The whole staff was so friendly and accommodating. The facility was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are several common areas to relax at the hotel with great views of the ocean.
A few of our learnings:
- the parking at the big lot across the street was very easy to use
- there is a laundry facility one block away, it was expensive (13 Euro for 1 load)
- we took surfing lessons from a shop a block away and it was a highlight of the trip!
- there is a little store on the edge of town that just opened and she makes the most beautiful sea glass jewelry. Must visit if you like unique gifts and jewelry. Karramarr Sea Glass
- a lot of the restaurants close between 4-8.
- we liked having a car for day trips to Bilbao and San Sebastián.
- we could not find a place to rent beach chairs or umbrellas for the beach days.
We will be back! Thank you to the whole staff - it was a wonderful stay.

A gem from another era but with home automation

Very beautiful and well-kept hotel, but it cannot claim to be for people with disabilities; the ramp to overcome the three steps at the entrance is steep and unusable without significant help, the beds are small and very low, the bathroom is well-kept but with low fixtures and certainly not suitable for the disabled, and there is no elevator to the upper floor. Breakfast at €22 was a fantastic experience, varied and very abundant with the chef available for any request, well done
