Very well located, rather eccentric place
This hotel is a series of rooms in an apartment b!ock. No sign outside, go to the first floor and ring the bell on the door to the left. Very friendly helpfull owner, our room was on the next floor, the bathroom was separate we had it to yourself but I think it would be shared it anyone else had been staying. We liked it, but it might not suit everyone. Can only, no ac. We had use of a decent kitchen and a sunny dining area.

Pandemic+travel advisory= no refund
Hotel refused to refund our July 2020 3 night stay even though there were travel advisories and Barcelona was about to be on lockdown again. Sketchy business practices if you ask me. Don’t give this place your money!

Wish could be better
Was expecting to be a hotel but turns out to an Airbnb style family business with 5 rooms under the same roof.
The room is clean and big with a patio to sit down and relax.
Staffs and hosts are very friendly. We felt welcome during our stay.
However, we didn't have much sleep during our 3 nights stay. The walls seem like made of thin sheet of paper and we literally can hear every single conversation our neighbour is communicating.
The doors definitely need a lot of repair works. Some of the guests walk in and out making a lot of noises when closing the door.
One of the biggest disappointment is that we do not have a private bathroom as indicated in hotel.com. Instead, we have to use a bathroom along the hallway, clustered between other rooms and the living room with check in/out counter beside. It is so awkward for us to walk in and out everyday with our toiletries passing by other guests.
Overall, it wasn't really bad to stay here but hopefully they will do something to improve the walls and doors. Lack of privacy is definitely one big issue for us during our stays.

Good location and the price is ok
Chez Moi is well located, the lowest price we found in the area. Our room is very small, but we have our own toilet/bathroom, unlike the other room.
The host is also good, he speaks English and reminded us to be careful of pickpockets.
Overall, i expected more from this "hotel"... but for our short stay, i think, it's ok, as we only stayed here to sleep, during the days we were out.

Great Location, Clean, Comfortable and Friendly
Chez Moi is located on Avinguda Diagonal within Eixample and is surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes and is within walking distance of a lot of the major sights of Barcelona, but more about that later....
The guest house is located on the first floor of 369 Avingunda Diagonal with access via stairs or a lift. When making your travel plans be aware that the front desk is open between the hours of 9 am and 10 pm. We flew in to Barcelona - El Pratt Airport (BCN) and had planned to travel in to the city using the Renfe train and the Metro, however our flight had been delayed and we were short on time so we played it safe and used a Taxi from the airport that dropped us right outside the door of Chez Moi. We did use the Metro and Renfe back to the airport at the end of our trip which was a very easy journey and we were able to use our T10 travel card meaning the jouney only cost 1 euro, remember though that you cannot ride the Metro all the way in to the airport on the T10 ticket so you must change on to the Renfe or you will be charged more. Upon arrival to Chez Moi you will need to use the intercom to the left of the wrought iron doors, once let in we were greeted at the bottom of the stairs and shown to the lift and them taken in to the guest house itself where the check in procedure was completed swiftly and we were given a map of the city. The owners were very friendly and polite.
There is a central area that has a sofa as well as a fridge that you can use to keep your water and snacks cool. There are also kettles, tea and coffee, crockery and cutlery that can be taken in to your room and returned once finished with for others to use. Our room was clean and had a private bathroom with twin sinks and a good shower for washing the heat of the day away between sight seeing and heading out for dinner in the evening (remember that in Spain/Catalonia the majority of restaurants don't upon until late, sometimes as late as 9 pm).
Our room was on the front of the building, remember earlier that I said that Chez Moi is located on Avingunda Diagonal? This is a very busy road so there is traffic noise 24/7, pack your earplugs in case you get one of the two rooms on the front and you are a light sleeper. You will notice a big difference to the noise levels with the windows and shutters closed but I would still take your ear plugs to be on the safe side. I will also point out at this stage that Chez Moi is in an old building and has no air conditioning but the room is equipped with 2 very good fans. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the owners friendly and the location was perfect for our needs....
Eixample is a central district of Barcelona and therefore you have great access to everything you will want to do from here. Turning left out of Chez Moi and following the line of buildings on to Carrer del Rossello will give you at least 3 breakfast options, pastries from elFornet bakery, breakfast menu from Mixto Cafe (on Carrer de Pau Claris) and a breakfast buffet for 7.50 Euros at Gambito Bcn before continuing a short distanct to Pesseig de Gracia where you will find your nearest Metro station, Diagonal. Walking down Passeig de Gracia will lead you to La Pedrera - Casa Milo, Casa Batlo, loads of designer shops, one of the many Barcelona FC shops and will lead you all the way down to Placa de Catalunya at the top of La Rambla and down to the Columbus Monument and on to the Port of Barcelona, the aquarium, Port Vell and Sant Sebastia and Barceloneta beaches. Turning right from Chez Moi, you have a supermarket and if you continue along Avinguda Diagonal for about 20 minutes (remembering to go down Carrer de Provenca with the submarine statue on your right and the closed Repsol garage on your left) you will reach La Sagrada Famillia.
