We had a brilliant holiday ! Thank you team ‘Zafiro Cala Mesquida ‘ . Can’t really fault anything, kids loved so did we ! Great atmosphere, good food , lots on offer for the kids ( families ) . Really enjoyable experience! I was really impressed how nothing seemed to be a problem for any of your staff members ! Your entertainment teams rocks !!

Nice, but could be better.

Firstly, we enjoyed our family holiday here overall. It was clean, staff were friendly and we really love the Zafiro brand. However, there are a few areas that need some constructive feedback. We have stayed in three Zafiro hotels Mallorca and Menorca. These two are both much better than Cala Mesaquida. Issues, included not sunbeds available after 8am. Not as clean and food wasn't as good.

Lovely hotel but no free sun- beds!

We have been to the Zafiro Menorca so wanted to try this hotel in Mallorca. We had a lovely holiday here, hotel is clean and well maintained throughout, lots to do at the hotel for the kids, plenty of swimming pools to choose from. Two nice restaurants with lots of choice, we decided to eat from Marco Polo as it was less busy. The two only downfalls were there were no sun-beds in the main pool by 8.30 in the morning, there was no one by the pool but every sun-bed was taken. I did ask at reception what the policy was and they said it’s something they are aware of and they are trying to do something about it. It was frustrating as typically some people who had reserved sun-beds with their towels had obviously gone out for the day and didn’t return until 4pm. After working in hotels in Cyprus myself we had policy’s that if you put your towel down and you hadn’t returned within an hour we would collect your towels and take them to reception. This is something that needs to be done here especially during the peak school holiday season. The other downfall was how people were at breakfast and dinner time in the buffet restaurants. People do not give you space to put food on your plate, breathing down your neck next to you waiting for you to dish up. I know this is a world wide AI thing, however My 7 year old daughter had a spoon ripped out of her hand by a lady when she was drizzling chocolate on to her pancakes, the lady was clearly annoyed by my daughter and leant over her to grab the spoon which upset my daughter . I did have words with her! Apart from that the evening entertainment was good, my son loved the football matches each evening and my daughter loved the shows and dancing with the entertainers. We would come back but probably out of peak season time where we may be able to get a sun bed!

Far from Expectations!!!!

Building is old and air conditioning can't cope in summer. Couldn't sleep at night due to the heat. Rooms are not serviced daily nor properly. Buffet is limited and mundane and quality of the food is average. Beach is a fair distance from the beach with no toilet. Smell of sewage at the pool. Service at the bars is poor because sometimes one barman has to mix cocktails, make coffees and milkshakes and serve drinks. Sometimes long queues in the heat waiting to get a drink. Great way for them to cut your "all in". Pretty far from the airport so a fairly hefty taxi fair. Definitely far below expectations considering the cost. Far better resorts in Mallorca and Europe.

Highly recommend it

Exactly very nice hotel and food was amazing. The only downside was that the hotel wasn't enclosed, so children could run out of the hotels area.
