Not soundproofed.
The location is ideal for hiking, going to Ciutadella, it is in the heart of nature and truly charming. The breakfast offers a choice of savory and sweet. The staff is very friendly.
Despite everything, the building is old and not soundproofed at all. At half past midnight, I was awakened by the people above who were coming back from the restaurant, and I could hear their conversation. Then, the snoring of a sleeper resonated until 3 AM. In short, horrible night. I pay for a hotel to sleep, and at the rate I paid, I threw money out the window.
Despite everything, the building is old and not soundproofed at all. At half past midnight, I was awakened by the people above who were coming back from the restaurant, and I could hear their conversation. Then, the snoring of a sleeper resonated until 3 AM. In short, horrible night. I pay for a hotel to sleep, and at the rate I paid, I threw money out the window.

Treated rudely and disgusting and aggressive!!
Tried to stop at the cafe while walking the coast route. Received the most awful rude experience ever. The man and woman did not want to serve us and could not have been more outrageous if they tried. I am 72 years old

Decent accommodation but too expensive
1. Welcoming & communication
We were well received: the staff was friendly and the keys were handed over quickly. Contact was easy, with exchanges in French, English or Spanish. Small tip: remember to ask directly for the Wi-Fi code or hairdryer on arrival, as this information is not given spontaneously.
2. Cleanliness & Comfort
The accommodation is spacious for two, well arranged and equipped (dishes, microwave, fridge, hobs, pans...). It was clean on arrival, with the bed made and a functional bathroom (walk-in shower, sink, toilet). The staff spends every other day changing towels, which is very appreciative. A complete cleaning kit is provided (sponge, mop, broom, washing-up liquid...).
But several things really spoiled the comfort:
The furniture has aged well and the accommodation deserves a good refreshment.
– The insulation is non-existent: you can hear everything going on around, even from the outside.
– To access our upstairs accommodation, we pass the terraces of the ground floor accommodation, so close that we literally feel like we are walking in people’s homes.
-And above all: as it was very hot inside, we tried to create a draft, which led to... an invasion of insects: ants as soon as we leave food out of the fridge, two crickets entered the apartment, and even a surprised mouse in the kitchen.
The beds are not very comfortable, they are two single glued beds that separate constantly, which is not practical at all.
3. Facilities & Amenities
The kitchen is well equipped (microwave, gas hob, fridge, sink).
No air conditioning, only a ceiling fan and a mobile, insufficient in full heat.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the residence.
Outside: small balcony with table, two chairs, stretching.
No washing machine. Everything works.
A TV, some storage, 2 rolls of toilet paper on arrival.
The pool is a real plus, with deckchairs and umbrellas (but not much room available around).
4. Location
Our apartment had the chance to have a sea view (not everyone did). The residence is quiet and there is little passage. On the other hand, Cala Morell is a very quiet town, even dead, so you have to go to Ciutadella (10 min by car) to go shopping or go out.
A bus stop is right outside the residence.
The parking is big enough for everyone.
The beach is a 10-minute walk away, but there are quite a few stairs. The environment is pleasant, too bad that the sound insulation is so bad between the accommodation.
5. Value for money
We paid €1,186 for 7 nights + €30.80 city tax.
It is really expensive for the services offered: despite the location and the pool, the state of the accommodation and the overall discomfort do not justify this rate.
6. Conclusion
It is not a catastrophic accommodation for a few nights, it does the job. But for a full week at this rate, it is clearly too expensive.
I don’t recommend it especially, nor do I formally advise against it... except perhaps to avoid ground floor accommodation because of noise.

I MISS HER ALREADY!
9 nights stay with 3 year old child.
Apartment located in a quiet area for those seeking tranquility and has few pretensions and settles, there is the bare minimum. We had dinner every night in the apartment without difficulty. the air conditioning is not there but in mid-July you were fine leaving everything open.
If something is missing just ask at reception and they give it to you without problems.
Staff helpful and kind.
The pool and sunset views from the bar and terrace of the apartment deserve Reservation in Sa Cala.
Supermarket and center with bars and restaurants is 10 minutes away by car.
A beautiful beach is 5 minutes away by car.
In Cala Morell there is a restaurant (2 minutes walk) with beautiful sunset views, prices a bit high (they make some local dishes and sushi) but it deserves a dinner.
