Worst experience ever!

The Worst Hotel Experience – DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
We traveled with our family and had two rooms on the same floor with ALL INCLUSIVE .
Although the website advertises air conditioning in every room, there is no air conditioning at all. You have to sleep with the window open just to be able to breathe somewhat comfortably, and throughout the night there is constant noise coming from outside.
There is no mini-fridge in the room, so you cannot even keep a bottle of water cold.
The Wi-Fi does not work at all.
The only place where there is air conditioning is the hotel reception.
The dining room is extremely hot, to the point where you can barely eat because of the heat.
The food is extremely poor. You get the same foods every day, with a very limited selection. Whatever is left over from breakfast or lunch is reused for dinner in different forms. Basically, every day you get potatoes, pasta, and rice for both lunch and dinner, prepared in different ways.
For dessert, for six days we had only crème caramel (with no taste), one green jelly and one red jelly. On three out of the six days, the only fruit available was sliced oranges.
The staff is extremely rude and always seem annoyed by the guests. In the dining room, you always have to ask the staff for drinks. Basically, one person stands next to the soft drink dispenser and serves you.
The soft drinks and sparkling water come from the tap, with carbonation and flavorings added depending on what you ask for. As a result, every drink you have tastes like chlorine.
You won’t want to go to the bar or the pool either. There are only 9 sun loungers for the entire hotel at the pool.
If you want something from the bar, you have to wait until you are completely dry because they literally yell at you if you enter the bar area while wet.
The selection of drinks is very limited. There is a soft drink dispenser (with the same chlorine taste), and if you order a cocktail, for example a “Sex on the Beach,” they pour about 20ml of alcohol, add soft drink from the dispenser, and that’s it — that’s your cocktail.
For non-alcoholic drinks, there are only three bottles of syrup that are mixed with drinks from the dispenser. If you want anything extra, you have to pay for it.
At the snack bar, every time we asked for something, we were told they had run out. The only thing we received during our six-day stay was a dry omelet left over from breakfast and reheated in the microwave.
We did not see a single hamburger, portion of fries, or hot dog during the entire six days.
There is an older gentleman working at the bar who constantly yells and makes guests feel uncomfortable. He is extremely unfriendly.
We were a group of five people, and if I wanted to take drinks or juice for the family members who were in the pool, he would get very annoyed and say that only one drink per person was allowed. I had to take my child out of the pool just so I could get her a drink, but then he would complain that the child was wet and leaving water around the bar area.
The cleanliness is absolutely terrible.
When we arrived, there was dirt on the floor in the room, and the bed linen smelled bad. The rooms also smell strongly of sewage.
After repeatedly insisting that the room be cleaned, I noticed that the housekeeper was not vacuuming the rooms at all — she was simply mopping the floor.
After two days, I personally asked the housekeeper to vacuum the room and change the bed linen, and I even left her a tip. When I returned to the room, the floor was clean, but the bed linen had not been changed. It was the same dirty, bad-smelling linen, although the bed had been made.
During our six-day stay, the room was cleaned only three times, and only after we specifically asked for it, and the bed linen was never changed once!
Overall, this was an absolutely terrible experience that I would not recommend to anyone.
My three-year-old daughter did not eat anything during our entire stay. She had to eat food from outside the hotel instead.
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Do not stay at this hotel

Very disappointing experience – I do not recommend this hotel
I stayed at this hotel with my family, six people in total, on an all-inclusive basis. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing and far below what we expected.
One of the biggest problems was the lack of air conditioning. The hotel’s website states that the rooms have air conditioning, but there was no air conditioning in our room. The same problem existed in the dining room, where there was also no air conditioning. It was extremely hot and guests were sweating heavily while eating. This made the dining experience very uncomfortable.
Smoking is not allowed, but the hotel does not provide any properly designated smoking areas. If smoking is prohibited, there should at least be a designated outdoor area for smokers.
The food was also very disappointing. It was practically the same every day, with very little variety. For an all-inclusive hotel, we expected a much better selection and more variety throughout our stay.
The situation at the bar was particularly unpleasant. On several different days, I saw guests ordering drinks and being served several drinks at once. However, when I asked for more than one drink, I was told that only one drink per person was allowed. This happened repeatedly over several days. The difference in treatment was obvious and made me feel that some guests were being treated preferentially, possibly because they were giving tips.
The rooms also had problems. There was a persistent smell of mould, and the cleaning service was not satisfactory. We had the impression that the room was cleaned more thoroughly when money was given to the cleaning staff.
Another major problem is that the hotel has only one lift for almost 400 rooms. As a result, there are very long waiting times, especially during busy periods.
Overall, for a hotel offering all-inclusive accommodation, there are serious problems with air conditioning, cleanliness, food variety, comfort and the way guests are treated.
The information on the hotel’s website regarding air conditioning also does not match our actual experience, which I find particularly disappointing.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to my family or friends, and I would not stay here again.
Another extremely unpleasant aspect is the number of shops located near the hotel. In many of them, prices are NOT displayed. The sellers simply tell you the price when you ask, and our impression was that the price can depend on the customer.
We encountered situations where the prices seemed completely excessive for the products being offered.
I strongly recommend that tourists do not buy anything before clearly asking for the price and, if the price is not displayed, simply avoid the shop. It is not acceptable for a customer to have no idea how much a product costs until they ask the seller, or to feel that the price changes depending on who is buying.
Based on our experience, these shops leave a very bad impression and create the feeling that tourists are treated more like people from whom they are trying to get as much money as possible, rather than as valued customers.

Worse experience of a hotel I’ve ever had

PLEASE DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL.
ROOMS very basic bed very uncomfortable no a/c pair for a fan but sleeping at night was torture
FOOD all inclusive stay shockingly bad. Very small section. Which would or un out quickly. They couldn’t cook the chips properly & they were always under cooked. Understaffed
Snacks. Very small amount of burgers pasties but once it ran out they just told us none left. Burger but in microwave for a min to reheat not nice.
DRINKS again very limited they only 3 cocktails on offer & wine came in a small cup half full.
POOL small not enough room for everyone at the hotel, so again not fun. No access to toilets unless to change out of your swim wear as the staff get upset about the wet floor
STAFF hit and miss they speck little English asked about a good place to buy flip flops answer- no where in Calella, the. Walked out to find 100s of lovely wee shops in the nice streets of Calella.
Staff came in at dinner to eat & took the last of the rice.
Location. The only good thing right next to a mini market five minutes walk to the beach & main Calella shops/bar area. Train station also walkable.
Conclusion
Angry they sell this hotel on on the beach website. Not a 3 star hotel, not an all inclusive package. I think the place is in trouble & should be shut down.
Do not go stay here.

Hotel Terrable

Not a 3 star hotel at all, very basic and old, very little food choice for all inclusive and very much the same everyday, snack bar is shocking just reheated left overs. Only 19 sunbeds for the whole hotel! We had a evening flight but wasn’t allowed drinks after mid day or dinner! Changed our wrist bands so we couldn’t get anything! didn’t provide a courtesy room for a shower generally a very poor experience.
