Totally delighted!
A wonderful hotel with very pleasant and attentive staff. I would like to mention the restaurant and kitchen separately. Gorgeous fish dishes and gourmet appetizers, and wines complement each treat perfectly. The service is most commendable. We especially want to mention the waitress Karina , we really liked her with her kind attitude and care. The location of the rooms and restaurant is perfect, the beach is very cozy and comfortable. The hotel is organized at the highest level, with attention to every detail. It's a place I want to go back to again and again. We will definitely come here one more time and would be happy to recommend this hotel to others.

Luxury terrace restaurant without ostentation in an unrepeatable setting over the sea.
Dinner over the sea in the Bay of Palma. Understated luxury in an unrepeatable setting facing the sea. Very versatile and complete restaurant menu at reasonable prices. Its quality stands out in the attention of its dining room staff, always attentive and kind. Service without waits. And excellent attention from their restaurant director, Karina, with approachability, high professionalism, friendliness, and attentive to everything. Without a doubt, one of the accessible must-visits in the vicinity of Palma, in summer and spring.

GREAT views/ needs room refresh with new towels and softer toilet paper
We selected this hotel because the reviews were decent and pictures were amazing.
The staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, great service throughout. If we return, it will be for the staff, not the property.
It's a bit remote, and we knew that, but it was a bit disappointing when at check in (late evening from traveling all day) we were told ALL dinner reservations were booked for our entire stay and we were on our own for dinner. Didn't mind the 15-20 minute walk up the road for food, but also didn't feel very welcoming. If you are traveling with any physical limitations, it is a bit of an uphill climb to get to restaurants, so plan ahead or call a taxi.
That was the least of the disappointment, just hangry complaint. For a hotel of this magnitude, we were super disappointed in the basic rooms, and worst of all, below basic towels (so old you can see through them) and horrible toilet paper (the roughest of the rough). The room decor can use some pizzaz to match the rest of the vibe, but the views made up for it. If you pay top dollar, you expect great sheets, soft towels, soft TP.
PRO TIP: make dinner reservations before you get there if you want to dine on property & budget for taxis or rent a car if you plan to leave the property. Views were amazing....

Very disappointed. Things happen - but lack of response and hospitality was not up to standards. Dont book.
I think my review best summed up by saying very disappointed. I booked a 5 night stay with my wife, celebrating our 1 year anniversary. The location, the charm and strong reviews sold me on it. Started great at the airport, after a 5 hour delay out of Nice the private driver was still there as promised 3ven after all the flight issues. That was super appreciated. We get there and get our room - no ac. Note - this was during one of the hottest weeks ever in the med - so it was sweltering. Also no room service or food after 10. Kitchen closed...bummer. The bar staff rustled up some bread and olives which was nice.
Because it was later in the evening check in due to our delays only the night crew was there and apparently we had the last room in the hotel - fully booked so no alternative room. So he gave us a single standing fan. Needless to say - one miserable night. The next morning I brought it back to the attention of the desk and we went down to the pool the next day and had a nice lunch and drinks. When I checked a couple hours later they said great news..its fixed. Problem was - it really wasn't. Yes cool air could barely be felt coming from the vent but no where near any sort of normal ac. We brought it up again and they promised to work on it but it never resolved. We blacked out the curtains, kept the fan and made the best of it until the last night where it completely went out again. Error code on the panel - nothing. When I brought it to the attention (again) they said the hotel has an issue and I could talk to them in the am when we checked out. So a very miserable last night. The cherry on the cake of our last night? We went to the lovely and delicious restaurant for our anniversary dinner at 940 and placed an order. We watched 2 other tables get seated after us and food come, including a whole fish to go for the table in front of us at 1015. At 1020 the waiter comes to apologize and sys due to a problem with the lights (?) our food isnt coming because now the kitchen is closed and offered us a salad. I was not understanding because I just watched two hot entrees get served and he said well he ordered by phone. Me: yeah but his order just got served? It was clear he forgot to put our order in and the kitchen closed and wouldnt accommodate his mistake. We just got up and left. There were some standout employees for sure, the woman working breakfast as the supervisor and the woman bartender at the pool are excellent - as was one of the main guys at the restaurant that always ensured we got an amazing table. I get thst things happen but the lack of accommodation or offering anything at all other than sorry just isnt it for this price point. We are by no means hard to please but as well no ac is a fundamental failure which again- things happen but we were there for 5 nights - find us another room. Bonus tip - dont let them give you room 109 its right next to the storage for the housekeeping so you will not only hear all the equipment as they do their work, but all the staff conversations starting too early in the am as well as that door opening and closing all day. Im hoping the hotel will see this and somehow make it right but this was something we looked forward to for a long time and had nothing but frustration and having to make "the best of it" and a fundamental lack of services and hospitality. Things happen but how you respond to them is all the difference and Hotel Bendinat failed us.

Beautiful, beautiful Bendinat
We fell in love with Hotel Bendinat from the moment we arrived. I was recommended it by a good friend who has stayed here for years, and we now understand why they keep returning to this gem of a hotel.
The setting is stunning - some of the best sea views on Mallorca - and the whole place oozes old school charm. We travelled as three generations of one family (grandmother, mother and daughter) and it was loved by each of us equally. The restaurant is excellent; every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully executed, so we kept going back for more. If you fancy a change of scene, Palma is just a 15-minute cab ride away.
We stayed in two double sea view rooms in the main block - well appointed with wonderful views, though the walls could be a little thin. Every room at Hotel Bendinat is different, so it’s worth staying more than once to find your favourite!
I found a beautiful coastal walk to do every morning towards Portals from the hotel and our daily swims in the crystal clear waters by the hotel were just lovely.
What really makes this hotel special is the staff, many of whom have been there for years. A special mention to Marcos and his family, who run the restaurant with such warmth and professionalism; Carina, who went out of her way to help my mother find Wimbledon tennis on the bar TV so she could watch her favourite player; Victoria, who looked after us on the beach with endless smiles; and fabulous Alejandra, who made our stay that bit more special. Thank you too to Tony in the restaurant, the reception team, and Magdalena and the booking team.
We’ll definitely be back — again and again!
