Good if you have a very young family
Just spent two weeks at H10 Lanzarote Gardens, for the most part it is a very nice hotel. We were originally booked elsewhere and had to move due to build-works next to property. We rebooked to H10 and per bad luck our room was on 3rd floor (not easy with cases) at the very back of property in the Tenerife block, this had building works outside our room, noise beginning at 7:30 each day but not too bad, as other property was much noiser. We went half board and it is possible to upgrade but at €40 per day per adult & €20 per child we didnt see the benefit of it to just add lunch and drinks as we are not big drinkers.
There is just one restaurant and main bar so that felt a bit limited having been at other all inclusives with way more choice. The food for the most part was nice though meat selection felt limited some days and not all foods were labelled as to what they were, leading to choosing items that were not to ones taste at times. I would also be concerned for people with certain food allergies if many items are not labelled, but this is easily rectified. The cutlery was odd also with very skinny forks and knives making eating a bit difficult though am guessing this was purposefully done. There was no indication what type of food was served each evening so it was hard to plan if u wished to go eat out if food was not to your liking. There were times the restaurant was very busy and it felt quite chaotic so choose quieter times very early or later after 8. The main issue really was there are alot of really young families here with babies & toddlers so restaurant was often very noisy with crying irritable children. This was the main issue for us as really our children were too old for this hotel at 11 & 13 they fall into the awkward age of not adults but too old for their club that was aged 9-14 as the hotel missed the mark for engaging this age group. The entertainment room and bar was Im sure great for people with kids under 7 but looked like the last place you would choose to go daily for entertainment as it was hectic every evening and again aimed at very young children. We saw examples of the entertainment and really it was not great. We felt the only thing for our kids to do was play pool, this being at the back of the bar and €2 a game, unfair if that was all that realistically entertained this age group. We were not alone in thinking this.
The animations team worked very hard with entertainment at the pool and while some was quite cheesy some was really good fun. The pool areas are lovely but main pool is cold at 24c and unpleasant to get into even in the evening. The smaller pools were 26c so slightly better but I felt the water didnt look clean in the smaller pool.
Overall we felt the property was very well kept with constant maintainance of landscaping and public areas. It was overall very clean and the very pleasant staff work very hard to keep it so.
Our suite room was spacious for a family of 4 with nice shower, proper a/c comfortable beds and balcony area.
If you have a young family under the age of 8 then I would recommend this hotel as your children will be well entertained and you wont really mind the noise of other peoples crying kids so much, but I wouldn't choose it if you have older kids as having been at other all inclusive hotels they cater better for older kids and really there is a need for balance to keep everyone happy. We did go on trips to the Aqua park €6 taxi ride away. Rancho texas zoo & water park, rented a car to explore island and manrique museums, snorkled at Jablillo beach and tried as many activities off site to entertain our kids with additional costs, so factoring these things in is important. This holiday for 2 weeks half board with flights was €7,200 so although there were many positives about the hotel it needed more for our age demagraphic

Pleasant stay
From 13/06/2026-20/06/2026 all inclusive stayed at this hotel as a couple with two toddlers aged 5 and 3 and a 5-month-old baby.
Had a pleasant holiday.
Super friendly staff from the people at the reception to the waiters, bartenders, cooks and entertainment team.
We had asked for a room on the ground floor via mail and also received it in a renovated bungalow (family suite).
Very pleasantly surprised by the room. Spacious with a huge terrace (we were lucky with this because most terraces are a lot smaller). Our room had a large bedroom with plenty of wardrobes + a kind of living room with a cot, single bed and sofa bed. Both rooms had a TV. In the “living room” was also a small kitchen incorporated in the cupboards with a fridge, microwave, cutlery, dishware and sink (this smelled stale after use).
Also the bathroom was fine, one of the best showers we have already had on holiday (strong jet of hot water).
What I found strange was that there was no standard cleaning every day, we then placed the sign at the door asking to clean our room, mainly to be able to get new towels.
Since we stayed all inclusive, we mostly ate at the buffet restaurant. This was rather limited if you compare it with eg the buffets in Turkey, but we found the quality okay! Most of the things we took, we liked them too. During our stay it was also never too crowded in the restaurant. There is even a separate area where people can eat without children.
We were with small children and found it very pleasant that the staff could handle this well.
There is also a poolside bar where you can get drinks (nice cocktails), soft ice cream and snacks. We didn’t always find the snacks very successful (slack chicken nuggets for example) so we usually went to the restaurant for lunch in the afternoon.
Our boys went to the kids club once and had a great time (thanks Xabi and Karen). They loved the Daisy mascot and really liked the mini disco.
The evening shows are - in my opinion - really for the children. It is mainly the animation team who then put together a show.
The only really big flaw for us was the temperature of the pools. The pool with the slides was 22 degrees and this is just really freezing. On those 8 days my children went down the slide 4 times and then got out of the pool as fast as possible and jumped into the pool without the slides. This felt a bit warmer but after a maximum of half an hour we had to get out of there, because our boys were shaking from the cold (26 degrees was this temperature).
So we often went to the beach, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It's a pleasure. There is also a large box at the pool of the hotel where people leave their inflatable toys / umbrellas / etc, so we were able to use a parasol for the beach.
We also brought the hotel beach towels for this. You will get 1 beach towel for each person during your stay, if you want a new one, you have to pay 1€.
Overall we had a successful holiday. The weather was sometimes still a bit chilly in mid-June, a lot of wind and often cloudy, but in the afternoon it was usually warm enough to lie on the beach or go into the sea.
Easy also that the taxis in Lanzarote are well arranged, if you request one at the reception, it will be ready for you 2 minutes later. So we went once to Rancho Texas. We also found this successful (combination zoo and water park).
The location 15 minutes from the airport is also top notch.

Best hotel with kids in Costa teguise
Stayed at this hotel 4yrs running and don't get tired of it, my kids this Yr were 8 girl and 11 boy, they came home saying it was the best week of their lives so can't as for more than that, its very central and in a great location just a 2min walk to beach, every staff member in this hotel from reception/office , cleaners , lifeguards , bar restaurant staff and entertainment are all so friendly and can't do enough for you, this place is spotless, no sunbed wars which is so good, we always go AI with kids this is the best option for us and always so much choice a themed food night each night , my boy is a fussy eater and always finds something to eat, we find the food really good and to high standard, we always book this hotel before we leave for the next and have done so again for next year, we always come same two weeks and this year while we stayed there were also at least 10 other families that had also returned from the same time last year so I think that says alot, my kids absolutely adored the entertainment staff and were so sad saying goodbye to them they both spent most their time in the junior club, lots of the same entertainment staff were there from last year and my kids were so excited when they returned and seen they were still there, they run a fabulous white party on a Monday night and tropical party on a Thurs night which is a highlight of the week , kids in junior club learn 4 dance routine and get to dance them at the tropical party which they loved , they did this with Deigo who was so so great with the kids he is still being talked about at home, the entertainment team also put on evening entertainment and their in-house show is our favourite they also include kids in some shows which kids adored , they done lion King show , grease/mama mia, 80's show all to a very high standard so well rehearsed and very entertaining , this Yr they launched a new pool show called dance and splash which was so so good and very inclusive everyone joins in, big shout out to vera head of entertainment who organises all this and has been in this hotel since I can remember she's amazing, at this hotel your kids will never go bored

Good experience
We stayed at the hotel in August on a half-board basis as a family of five, and overall we had a very enjoyable stay.
The staff were excellent — friendly, helpful and always willing to assist. The entertainment for the kids was also excellent, and our children really enjoyed it. The kids’ pool was spacious and a great feature. There are also kids’ clubs available, although we didn’t use them during our stay.
The location is another big positive. The local area is lovely, with a beautiful beach nearby and plenty of amenities within walking distance. The town is particularly nice in the evening, with a great atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks.
We stayed on a half-board basis. As expected, drinks aren’t included, which is fairly standard. The food was good overall, with a decent selection and a different theme each night. However, although the theme changed, a lot of the main food options remained the same, so the dining experience could become a little repetitive.
Our family room was very spacious and was cleaned and serviced daily. The room was clean and comfortable, although it did feel a little dated in places. The kitchenette was a useful addition, especially for a family of five. One small issue was that there was no lock on the bathroom door, which I understand can be fairly common in European hotels, but with a family of five, a little extra privacy would have been appreciated!
Overall, this is a good family hotel and I would definitely recommend it to other families. The children really enjoyed their stay, and the excellent staff, great pool and entertainment, and convenient location made it a very enjoyable holiday for us.

Summer 2026
Great hotel for families. Came with 9 and 5 year old. Plenty to do. Rooms cleaned everyday . All inclusive had a great range both in food and drink. Close to the beach and the square. Everything you need.
