Quaint and cosy

Stay here for two nights, room was cosy and warm with minus temperatures outside evening and early morning. Heating in bathroom, bedroom and heated flooring, perfect. Room was clean and comfortable. Pillows were a bit hard. Breakfast was just what we needed coffee, juice, yoghurt, toast, meats, cheese, tomato and fresh fruit.

Disappointment

Although in principle for the price it is what was expected I consider that it does not justify the lack of cleanliness and attention. After calling to report that the towels were torn as well as with stains and that water was coming out of the shower, the response was that in a There were towels in the common facilities closet (we had a hard time finding one we could use). We left the room as soon as we found another accommodation.

Disappointed

The room was bijou with very small shower room. Comfortable bed and very clean. Reception staff pointed out where we could park for free but none available. Used the 24 hr car park with a max cost of 18 euros. Hostel is in a location where you walk up to the old town and it is a steep climb! The new town is just down the hill. The breakfast is one loaf of bread shared by the two couples staying. No kettle to heat water for tea ( used our travel kettle). No reception staff to ask how the coffee machine worked. Instructions in Spanish. No cereals. Plenty of sugary bread snacks left out all day plus some fruit.
On paying, no one asked if had enjoyed our stay. Would prefer to stay elsewhere if returning to the area.

B&B in Cuenca's Historic City Centre

We stayed in Alojamiento Entrehoces and were pleasantly surprised with the quality-price ratio. It is a small B&B with no more than five small bedrooms, each decorated with taste, a double bed and a private bathroom.
Breakfast had little variety, nonetheless they have a coffee bar available 24/7 which is great for late night snacks and beverage.
The interior was clean and well decorated, nonetheless noise isolation could be improved as well as the façade of the building could use some paint.
There are two sisters who take turns at reception, they are helpful and welcoming. Make sure you announce your arrival time in advance since they are not in the B&B at all times of the day.

Excellent!

What a pleasant surprise we had when we checked in. We did not remember many about this place(it was our last night in Spain after 2 weeks of Andalusia), but everything was allright! A modern dinning room, very clean and also modern room(and a bathroom with all the amenities).
The place is situated in a quiet area, and is quite perfect for Cuenca's air(the house itself won't tell you much on the outside, but inside there's a jewel, considering the money you spent). The host did not speak english, but we understood everything :).
