Central location

Spent 6 nights in this small hotel. Friendly, helpful owners. Breakfast can be taken for 5 euros in the café opposite. The rooms are spacious, well-kept and equipped with comfortable beds and small balconies. Within walking distance of all shops, restaurants and cafes.

Uncomfortable, tired and VERY noisy, not recommended.

The hotel is located on a main road with a lot of summer traffic. If you go during hot weather it is impossible to sleep with the windows open, so you must choose between hot room or noisy room. The furniture and facilities are well used & the triple room is small. There is free parking nearby but in the summer it is impossible to find any, so you need to use paid parking. Whilst the nearest paid parking is 300m away, we could only find parking 1km+ away every day. There is no elevator so not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

One of my worst experience in my holiday

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. The property is old and extremely uncomfortable, and the staff member we dealt with was not helpful at all. Extremely unfriendly owner

We traveled through a trekking tour operator, with the room already paid for. Breakfast is available at the café across the street, very minimalist (bread, coffee, jam). Upon arrival, our IDs were checked at length, even though we had already completed an online check-in. The guesthouse has no elevator; when we asked for help with the luggage, we received none. We hauled the suitcases up to the second floor. The room was very small with a double bed, too small for friends. When we wanted to exchange the room for a larger one after a brief discussion for an additional charge, the owner wanted to charge us for both rooms. The owner was extremely unfriendly and only spoke Basque or Spanish. Even after the tour operator intervened, he maintained the opinion that a room is considered used once it has been entered. He was also not willing to look at the room and check whether there were any signs of use. Ultimately, the tour operator paid for both rooms. The condition of the rooms does not match the description and they are worn out (rusted balcony, swollen bathroom furniture). When I needed something from the owner at 8:00 a.m. the next day, I was snapped at and accused of having woken him up, and finally left standing there without a word.

Poor value for money

Good location but dated and very noisy with paperthin walls and creaky wooden stairs. Poor quality old bedding and manky shower curtain. No lift, a/c or fans, 30c on arrival.
