Excellent apartment in the heart of Girona old town.

Stayed here on our first & last night walking the Cami de Ronda. Excellent apartment in the Jewish quarter of the old town with a great atmospheric vibe to it. We loved the terrace and inner courtyard adorned in fragrant plants and flowers. We spent a lovely last few hours with a bottle of wine under the stars in the courtyard. The very helpful and friendly owners received us at Hotel Historic and stored our bags on the final day. Great place to experience the real heart of lovely Girona.

Very big disappointment

We had room 205, which is on the second floor.
Note that there is NO ELEVATOR
The steps from the first to the second floor are very high.
When you get in with your bags when you arrive and when you leave, it's torture.
Our room was very small, the wardrobe doors could not be opened because they collided with the feet of the bed.
I called the front desk to complain about the doors and they answered that it was not a hotel, it was a 200 year old house and it was what was there.

In the heart of Girona, in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, Casa Cundaro has the advantage of making you live the right atmosphere. The apartment overlooking a pleasant inner courtyard, an ideal place to stop and read and relax, offers all the comforts. The house has maintained a sober style and for this reason the experience was very pleasant. Breakfast is not provided but it is also pleasant, within walking distance, to access one of the many bars in the center. Recommended.

Evocative stay in the ancient Jewish quarter of Girona

Casa Cundaro offers the opportunity to enjoy a suggestive stay in the ancient Jewish quarter of the city of Girona, a city that deserves a stop for at least one night and a careful visit to the overlapping centuries of history that still retain the charm of an ancient splendor.
The house was a typical Jewish house with the courtyard reproducing the Star of David and numerous references to Jewish religious symbolism. We stayed in a spacious room for 5 people, although we were only 4. All very basic but clean and welcoming. It lacks the possibility to opt for a breakfast, but the person who checked us in was able to recommend great places to taste typical Catalan dishes.

Girona an unexpected gem

the house is really beautiful and reflects the photos on booking. the apartment is in an ancient building but it is super functional with a nice kitchenette, two bedrooms and a nice bathroom. check in must be done in a nearby hotel and the person who welcomed us was very kind and immediately offered to book us a taxi for the next morning to go to the airport
only flaw many quite steep steps but it's not that bad :). I would have liked to have had breakfast.
