Excelent stay!

Awesome stay. The person who received us was very kind. They make us feel home. We ordered a decoration and they did it just right. Awesome stay, we will be back for sure. The area where the apartments are located is very centric. You have everithing near by. Excelent location!

No very special

I stayed 1 week in the Asian and 1 week in the African apartment.
During my stay in the African apartment, the water boiler broke and it was leaking a lot of water in the kitchen. I contacted the owner and he would come over the next morning. The next day, by noon, I was told that I should move to another apartment (the African one) because they needed to replace the boiler. So I had to stay 4 days of my stay in a smaller apartment than the one I had booked. The apartments are not very special and the kitchen is very minimal equipped. What is also not very nice is the fact that there are constantly hookers in this street.

This apartment should be put out of business

I could not believe I forgot to leave a review of this place after my stay last year. I had to admit that the booking of this hotel was a huge mistake and it was caused by wrong referral link from this site to hotel booking site. Originally I was looking at another hotel in Madrid but when I clicked through the booking button it directed me to this hotel and I did not know the difference, anyway the pictures looked fine so I booked this place then.
However, this place is a total disaster. Not only the check in process was very bad (we were kept waiting on the street for 15 minutes because no one came to check in for us and it was located in a private housing which was not open to everyone), the apartment was not well managed, with lots of stains (on carpet and chairs), broken parts (on sofa bed) etc. However, the most frustrating part is the "deposit scam". They demanded to charge deposit of EUR 200 and agreed that it would be refunded if there was no issue. We did not do any damage to the apartment and they did not say we did anything wrong either, but then our deposit kept not refunded for more than 2 weeks after my stay. They just disappeared when I tried to follow up on this subsequently, if not because the hotel booking site helped me in finding them out and chasing them, I would not have got back the refund. Therefore, to all other reviewers here who have suffered the same, please keep checking with the hotel booking site which processed your booking and they may be able to offer some help, do not let this kind of scammers take our money!

Also disappointed

Upon arrival on May 31, we were dropped off at a different address than was stated on our reservation. Going back and forth, we ended up at the first address again and were told that there had been a problem with the reservation for 8 and that we were assigned two different rooms instead of one appartment for the 8 of us. The rooms were okay but I have a problem with the fact that I still haven't had my deposit of 200 euros back on my account. We did leave the place in immaculate condition. I think I have been more than patient.

Very disappointed

We were charged 200 euro bond in check-in. We only stayed 1 night and left the place in immaculate condition, however the bond money was never transferred back to me. I am very disappointed in this place.
The place is also on a prostitute strip so not a very nice vibe.
Would not recommend.
