Such a pleasant place to stay with clientele unsurpassed

I stayed here for around 15 days in December 2019; The staff were lovely and so helpful, including Laura and Nelson; The bed was very comfortable as was the room. The location in central Madrid was superb. There are many bars, restaurants and theatres also, locally situated. There is a close Metro stop and many taxis abound;

Madrid stay

It is only a small hotel but is conveniently located in the heart of Madrid and close to everything. My room was quite large and very comfortable. The free wifi was good. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Given the location, it was good value for money.

Nice hostel, clean, calm, well located, and with friendly staff

The Hostel is well located, near Plaza del Sol, is pretty clean, calm (I had a room without external view and sound) and the staff is pretty nice. However, keep in mind that it is a HOSTEL not a HOTEL and services are limited. So wont expect to find a spacious room & bathroom, but small and narrow room and mostly equiped with shower. The hostel does not serve breakfast nor have a common place to eat or to have a rest, but you will find a kettle and a fridge in your room. If you request for pleasant and calm night, you will have a dark room with a very small window with no views at all (but you will sleep well instead!) Well, I have to confess that mattress are pretty old...
The best (other than the staff) was the price, really affordable and nice!

Great Location

I booked this for it's location - everything was within walking distance.
We chose a room facing the front of the hotel (busier road), but there are quieter rooms facing an inner courtyard. There was a little noise as can be expected from a busy road with shops and bars/restaurants, but it didn't keep us awake at night (even on the Friday night).
Check-in was straightforward (once we had located the receptionist). The room was clean, spacious and had all amenities (toiletries, kettle/tea/coffee). Having a fridge in the room was a bonus.
I had chosen this hotel based on previous reviews and wasn't disappointed.
It is located on the first floor of a very old building - we even used the old lift a couple of times (novelty rather than requirement!)
Staff were polite and friendly.

Excellent!!!

Great location. About 3 to 4 minute walk to Sol station. Very clean and reasonably size for a hostal. The staff was very friendly. The only downside is that because I reserve same day I had to pay double rooms because they were the only available.
