Nice stay

Very nice , with terrace , fridge, wifi and TV.
The large bathroom, daily change of towels and sheets every other day. Very clean.
Small beds, but comfortable.
The owners very nice and attentive.
You can have breakfast or lunch in the bar they have in the local downstairs, good and cheap

Good central location, but........

Good central location , but that where the good bit ends ! Tiny room, poorly furnished. Only towel was a hand towel which must have been 10 years old. Whilst bedroom was spotlessly clean the balcony hadn't been cleaned - empty can of red bull and cigarettes from previous occupant. Wifi only worked in small reception area. Not worth the money.

Absolute Hell

We had been travelling from the early hours of the morning and was very tired
We arrived at the so-called hotel around 4pm was greeted by a very nice lady ‘ we speak no Spanish and she spoke no English which was fine , I showed her my printed off document and was given the key
The room was very hot ‘stifling to use a better word so we put the air-con on which was very loud but managed to put up with it for approximately 2 hours that’s all we was able to stand ‘ in this box room’ with no balcony
there was a noise fridge on a stall which looked ridiculous and a small wardrobe big enough for 1 person !
We left the room on the same day as arriving
The room was very small very hot the air con was very noisy
the bed was very small ‘ there was no way we could stay in there for a night ‘ so for seven nights was totally out of the question
We were very upset at this decision and where very tired after a very very long day my brother arrived and took us to his house for the night we tried to tell the lady about the room but to no avail ‘ that’s when we left
We then had to get another appointment the next day at great expense ‘ thinking afterwards it was strange there was no photo’s of the room on booking.com who have done nothing
I have since asked for money to be refunded

Poor

The accommodation is clean that's the best we can say about it. Very small and uncomfortable room. The towels were smelly and everything was outdated - think 14 inch tv and fridge running off same double plug. We know this area well and this one is not good, better places to be had at a cheaper price.

Our stay in Mazzaron

We stayed at Pension Egea 2 for a week. Got to say for a 2 star rating, I thought it would be what you see is what you get. But was very surprised by how clean the room was. We had fresh towels everyday except Tuesday. The bedding was changed mid week too. Fresh toilet rolls and think the room was mopped daily too. The lady who runs it doesn't speak much English though but you go in the bar underneath the pension I think they do. If not there is a lovely girl in the Tavern (also underneath) who speaks very good English. There is a key to gain entry to the stairs and the apartments and another key to gain access to your room. The only thing I didn't like was the noise from the bars, opening up and closing down at night. So if you do stop maybe ask your holiday provider to be in rooms 101 onwards (they are on the other side of the building) away from the noise.
