A fantastic rural location

A magnificent former 12th century fortified hilltop castle mostly ruins but with some surviving buildings the hotel being one of them that has been transformed into a modern stylish hotel. The proprietor was warm and welcoming and between my Spanish and his English we managed to converse really well.
The hotel is steeped in history and really comfortable, it is also dog friendly. Dinner was made to order and was lovely and served whenever we asked for it. Because of its rural location there is no light pollution so sitting on our terrace with wine in hand looking into the stars was an experience worth the cost of the room alone you could literally see thousands of stars with the naked eye. We booked this hotel as a stopover driving from Bilbao to our home in the Costa Blanca and will definitely return next year

A good weekend

It has been a perfect experience, both for the quality of the hotel and for the people who serve it. A guided night tour of the ruins of the town, very pleasant and curious. And a vision of the stars and the milky way

An unforgettable experience

In the grounds of the abandoned but spectacular Villa de Moya, this little gem. Few rooms but magnificent (also quality/price ratio) and with a very successful restaurant service (night only). And, of course, the good work and friendliness of Álvaro (a cracker), who even offers a night tour of the surroundings

Bad attention

When we enter to order a drink, a worker tells us that he is alone and cannot serve us if we are not staying at the hotel.
It had a table inside with two people (already served), and a table outside with four or five people (already served).
Unfortunately, we will obviously neither stay at the hotel nor return

Yesterday we went to dinner, like every year, with the family, 6 people in total. We ordered 5 tapas to share following the waiter's advice and they were more than enough. The quantities are generous and the price is very correct. For dessert, homemade tiramisu (very good). Fast and pleasant service. We will repeat. Highly recommended.
