Small and super quiet campsite.
Very small and very quiet campsite. The reception staff were very kind and helped me solve a problem. There is no evening entertainment, no music, and no market (you have to go out and walk 5 minutes to get to the one at the campsite next door). The campsite bar opens after 9:00 AM, so to have a coffee, you have to leave the campsite. The mobile home was spotless, as was the cleanliness of the entire campsite. The sea across the road is made of coarse sand and pebbles on the shoreline, and it gets deep almost immediately. The Pineda de Mar and Calella stations (if you want to go to Barcelona by train) are equidistant, about a 20-minute walk away. Then, after about 1 hour and 10 minutes by train, you get off directly at Plaza Catalunya.

We stayed in one of the bungalows and were very happy with it. It was clean, modern, and worked perfectly for our family of four. The only downside was that the dishwasher was in very poor condition and heavily rusted. There were also a lot of pigeons around the campsite. They regularly walked onto our terrace and table, and there was bird droppings in many places outside.
The swimming pool was fantastic – large, well maintained, and there were several activities organized every day, making it great for both children and adults.
The location is excellent. The beach is just one street away, with an underpass beneath the railway, so it only takes a couple of minutes to get there. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, as it was very windy during our stay and there were quite large waves, although that may just be typical for this part of the coast.
The train station is about a 15-minute walk away, and from there you can take a train to Barcelona in around an hour. Unfortunately, the train service wasn’t running very smoothly when we wanted to visit Barcelona, but we may simply have been unlucky.
The center of Pineda de Mar is quite small. However, you can easily walk in the other direction to the nearby town of Calella, which has a much larger, livelier, and more charming town center.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this campsite, especially for families.

Horrible beds
The beds collapse while you lie on them. Very, poor quality generally on mattresses, and got back pain after staying here for a week. Nice swimming pool, and they send out service people pretty quickly. But that it should become a daily thing that you have to build up the bed again is unacceptable.

nice relaxing camping with very dedicated friendly staff.
I booked early this year because the kids decided to also join for a week, so I booked 3 mobile homes. As a preference I asked if they could be next to each other. BellSol happily arranged that for us. We arrived quite early but we could already enter 1 of the mobile homes. The other two followed quite soon after that. As always the staff are super friendly, and very helpful. Just a relaxed bunch of very nice people.
We have been coming to BellSol for some years now and never been disappointed. The campsite itself is fairly small scale. Part camping lots to put up a tent, caravan or camper, part mobile homes and part appartments. The entire campsite is very well maintained. When someone departs from BellSol, the mobile homes get the most thorough clean I have ever seen on a camping. Housekeeping does a really great job.
BellSol is not a noisy busy place. It's nice, relaxed and quiet. There is no abundance of entertainment, animation etc which is exactly how we like it. The swimming pool is very nice too. It's not an Olympic size pool, but big enough for a nice swim.
Location wise I think this is a perfect place. on the edge of Pineda de Mar and Calella, both very walkable and both very nice places to go to. Very nice restaurants in both directions.
For us, it is incredibly important that we can bring our dog. BellSol is very accommodating towards dogs. In fact the entire area (Pineda, Calella) is very dog friendly. Across the street of BellSol is a dog beach where dogs can swim and run around. If you take your dogs to other beaches, this is tolerated as long as you keep them close to you and not have them running freely.
We are definitely coming back next year for another stay.
