Great for young families
I typically have at least two overseas holidays every year. Generally I don’t write reviews but felt compelled to do so for this hotel. Above all I would say this hotel provides a great experience for families with children up to age 10. I observed a lot of families enjoying themselves with the entertainment across the day and evening. For me as a solo traveller the hotel provided what I needed. It was in a great location in terms of proximity to the beach, the centre, buses etc. The actual centre is a 20min walk but you don’t feel out of the centre as there’s restaurants and shops all the way. It’s a lovely relaxed resort to stroll along the front.
Recommend that you walk along the front right up to Cala Singula, and also visit local places e.g. Alcudia Old Town.
Hotels in the resort are typically much smaller than this hotel ie it’s not a resort full of multi-storey hotels, nor does this hotel stick out due to its positioning.
My room was small, with a single but comfortable bed and the bathroom a little tired. It overlooked the pool and had a sea view. It was on the 5th floor and was directly above the stage, meaning there was loud music/entertainment all day and until around 11pm at night which is to be expected, but would have preferred not to have been immediately above the speaker.
I’m not overly fussy and whilst I wasn’t grossed out, the cleaning wasn’t as thorough as it could be. For example, after maintenance on a door to the stairs it was around 3 days before the sawdust was cleaned up, in areas around the hotel in corners if you sat in the same places you could see the same dirt there over a couple or few days. I was satisfied with my room, the maid came in every day and there’s the option to indicate when you want towels and bedding changed. The floor wasn’t cleaned daily. Although I was fine with the cleaning service - my assumption from what I saw in this hotel and other 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in is the cleaners are working hard, but the ratio of cleaners to size of hotel is perhaps less than typical.
Food was generally good and enjoyable and it was good to see the head chef welcoming diners on a few evenings.
Entertainment seemed to be enjoyed by guests, I only really watched one evening of live music and thought the band was great, including good interaction with the audience. I did see the start of an acrobatic performance, it was fine but not as impressive as I expected it to be based on reviews I’d seen, nevertheless young families were enjoying it.
Aircon was fine in my room and across the hotel.
Staff were pleasant and helpful.
I didn’t visit the gym or spa, other than using the shower after checkout on my final day.
It was very pleasing to be able to enjoy the food and drink right up until my departure - especially as I arrived after midnight which typically (ie not just this hotel) you feel like you’ve lost an evening meal (noting hotels have always offered something to eat - just too late for me after hours of travel).
Overall a good experience, but at the lower end of 4-star hotels in my experience and note its 4-star rating is more a reflection of facilities eg children’s water park, gym, spa etc.

No Air Conditioning in room with 36 degree heat !
My daughter is presently at the hotel with her 2 children, arriving in 36 degree heat with no Air Conditioning in the room, she went to reception telling them and they said nothing they can do as hotel full after 6 nights of a baking hot room they moved her to another room, but no sea view which she paid for in her Price! but She was happy to be in cool room. My daughter and her kids covered in heat rash and distressed on a holiday she PAID over £4000 for 10 days. Sorry management this is Unacceptable and complete lack of Empathy to your customers, surly checking your rooms before you put families in there to sleep would be a good idea, my daughter was not happy with the staff at reception who didn't do very much to help no fans or water offered to them while they baked in the room, if the hotel thinks this is acceptable in the peak season then your very delusional!
I might add this is my daughters second visit with her kids as they enjoyed it so much 2 years ago, unfortunately your customer service and hotel has been uneventful this time around.. You must know that Air Conditioning is not working in rooms so why put a family in that room! ?

The hotel is old and the aircondition is very bad. We had 27 degreees in the room in the night even though we had the aircondition on the lowest temp and full fan. We complained in the reception but they couldnt help because the hotel was fullm and they said that the system was to old co get the rooms colder. I will not recommend this hotel when it is very hot.

Pay Extra and Use a Different Hotel, Trust Me, You'll Thank Me, Air Conditioning will not drop below 26 degrees.
Rooms are small but that not the issue, if you are hoping to have your room cooler than outside then you are out of luck, I've checked by their own thermostat and my own thermostat and in the morning and at night you are lucky to get under 26 degrees, it's humid, not very clean, food is ok I suppose but very basic, if you ask a question about an 'upgrade to a room with working air conditioning' your answer is always "tomorrow", always, staff are friendly enough, you have to pay €3 deposit for safe then €3.50 for each day which is not much but it's still them milking you for what they can, it's a very basic room, small, heat is near unbearable, not the cleanest either but so far no insects, tbh they'd probably croak in the humidity of the room, if I was recommending I would honestly recommend another hotel, if this is 4* I'd hate to see a 3*, absolutely shocking customer service, only plus point are the cleaners are very nice people.
