Really not great.
Nice location for this huge family hotel overlooking the port and very close to the city center. Large swimming pool, nice, sunny, no swimmers in early April but “paddling pool for seagulls” seeming to like it very much. Small parking but others nearby.
Everything is old in this establishment, still in its 70s juice, bar room, sofas. Musical evening every night, from another time.
The room occupied is tiny, safe present but no lock so unusable just like the refrigerator that does not cool!!!! furniture from another time, BEDDING 140 VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, bed linen in bad condition, just like pillows = very bad nights. Late arrivals = more hot water!!!!
The breakfast buffet (included) is really very very LOW-END all food: cold cuts, cheese, pastries, hot drinks and 2 kinds of fruits including pineapple in a can.
So you don’t want to eat the other meals too much.
The staff is friendly and professional.

Despite the attractive price, I would not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is outdated, decorated in 1930s style and the activities go in the same direction. The room is not soundproofed. Common areas do not smell good. Breakfast and dinner are composed of low-end and often frozen products. Water pays the same as other drinks. Parking is also paid because their parking is too small so we must systematically park around the area which are all paid. The cleaning of the rooms is not done alone the towels are changed and the bed made.
Doubts about the maintenance of the air conditioning which is tired, you have to turn it off in order to sleep, because it is so noisy and there is a big temperature difference between the hall, the hotel refectory and the rooms.
The reception staff does the minimum subsistence, they are very unsympathetic, they seem to be disturbed when a question is asked, they can speak several languages but communication is not one of their first qualities. The staff in general is rude and seems sour, special mention for the gentleman and lady of a certain age at the reception and at the dining hall for dinner.
