A perfect group 40th birthday celebration
We chose Hotel MiM as the home base for my 40th birthday celebration in Sitges, with more than 20 friends and family traveling in for the week, and it proved to be an excellent choice for our group.
The location is absolutely fantastic. The beach is right across the street, while restaurants, bars, shopping, and the center of Sitges are all easily walkable. It gave everyone the freedom to explore independently during the day and easily meet back up later, and getting home after a night out couldn’t have been simpler.
Our Junior Suite was very spacious with a nice view, housekeeping was regular and reliable, and — importantly during August — the air conditioning worked extremely well. The hotel also surprised us with a bottle of cava and birthday note in the room, which was a lovely touch. Everyone in our group raved about the breakfast, the gym was a good size with a nice selection of equipment, and we really enjoyed the rooftop. The pool and lounging area are relatively small, but we never found the pool itself overly crowded, and sunset from the rooftop was beautiful.
MiM also hosted welcome drinks for our group, and the event was absolutely perfect. The space worked wonderfully for everyone, there was plenty of food, and the team took excellent care of us — even allowing the celebration to continue a little longer than originally scheduled.
The greatest standout, however, was the Events Manger Joaquim. I had been planning this destination birthday for months, and I truly cannot imagine having pulled it off without him. He helped coordinate our welcome event, answered countless questions, offered local guidance, assisted with restaurant arrangements and recommendations, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure our group was taken care of. His warmth, responsiveness, and generosity made an enormous difference in our experience, and MiM is very fortunate to have him.
If there is one area where I think the hotel could improve, it would be some of the room maintenance and upkeep. While our room was spacious and very comfortable overall, there were a few signs of wear, particularly in the bathroom, that could use some attention and didn’t quite match the otherwise high level of the property.
Ultimately, MiM worked exceptionally well as the headquarters for our celebration. The combination of the unbeatable location, amenities, breakfast, rooftop, event capabilities, and especially the service made our stay incredibly memorable. I am so grateful to Joaquim and the entire team for helping make my 40th birthday in Sitges such a special experience, and I would enthusiastically recommend MiM to anyone looking for a great home base in Sitges.

Disappointing room – well below expected Meliá standard
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, but unfortunately the room itself was extremely disappointing, particularly considering the price and the fact this is part of the Meliá Collection.
There were numerous maintenance issues: wallpaper coming away from the walls, leaking shower and taps, water dripping from the air conditioning, dirty vents and floors, damaged/worn furniture, lights not working, stained/damaged bedding and a toilet-roll holder that was practically falling off the wall. The “king” bed was also two beds pushed together with a noticeable gap.
The hotel has a good location and the staff deserve credit, but the rooms desperately need proper maintenance and refurbishment. As a MeliáRewards Gold member, I’ve stayed with Meliá many times and this was well below the standard I expected, especially for the price paid.
A real shame, because with investment in the rooms this could be a much better hotel.

*** WARNING *** This hotel is disgusting and needs a total remodel. I was so shocked at how bad the rooms were that I refused to stay there. The manager obviously knew the unacceptable condition of the rooms and agreed to give me a full refund for the total amount I paid online when I made the reservation.
What's so disappointing as a guest is to arrive at the hotel expecting a welcoming and comfortable 4-Star hotel that will provide an "exceptional experience in Sitges" (per their website) - only to find a run-down excuse for a deluxe hotel.
I was advised that the hotel will have a complete refurbishment in 2027 but that does not address the sub-standard condition of the current rooms being sold.
What's so disappointing as a guest is to arrive at the hotel expecting a welcoming and comfortable 4-Star hotel that will provide an "exceptional experience in Sitges" (per their website) - only to find a run-down excuse for a deluxe hotel.

Good location, deserves renovation
The hotel's location in the city is perfect, but it is urgently necessary to carry out renovations!
The beach deserves to be renovated.
Be careful for those arriving by car, access to the parking lot is via a small alley and an extremely narrow elevator. Don't think about going out three times a day, the car from the garage... That would take you too much time.
The Rooftop is pleasant, with its bar and pool.
The breakfast buffet is perfect, and the staff is quite pleasant.
Finally, the spa area is nice, but also deserves improved maintenance.
The beach deserves to be renovated.

Mim … meh :(
So far pretty poor the service is careless attitude the whole place is getting a bit tired and worn our room curtains weren’t hanging properly on the curtain rail just a bit tatty really bit disappointing for the price
