Halfway between the airport and hotel on my trip in, the shuttle driver lowered his window, allowing all the heat and humidity to enter the vehicle, and lit up a cigarette! Not knowing the local culture, I didn't say anything. But, breathing that cigarette smoke in a confined vehicle gave me a sore throat that I had for the duration of my stay, putting quite a damper on my trip there. I reported this to two people, including the manager, who did nothing more for me than remove the shuttle charge for that trip. The driver, of course, lied to them when confronted - and it was as though the manager just took his word without caring about the customer. In addition, during my relaxation massage, the "massage therapist" was very unprofessional and touched me in places that are off limits during massages! I felt violated. Stay away from this horrible place!

Great location, breakfast buffet is limited in fruit choice

Great location, pool is great for relaxing. On weekends, the pool has music during the day and if you want to take a nap, it would be difficult.
The breakfast buffet is good, but the fruit selection is quite limited. This is a repeat comment and I am not sure why the management does not address it.

From nostalgic feelings it was nice to be back. Too bad it wasn't totally awesome.

Great stay

The Torarica hotel resort was incredible, staff, cleanliness, food, pool, and rooms. We will return.
