Stayed extra 3 days

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, clean and friendly and good shower. Really good location as right near pier and only 10 minutes to main beach, originally booked for three nights but ended staying six. Highly recommend.

Relaxed, casual atmosphere, lovely beaches

Initially booked for 1 night, turned 10 , Jack has made it very enjoyable for us, had a very nice time on Koh Samet, will definitely come back here, relaxed island.
Nice contact with manager and owner, warmly received, booked on the spot

family trip away

i stayed here with the wife and her family lets start with the bad the breakfast was terrible fried eggs cold and like rubber. the hard boiled eggs sent back twice cause they were like water and the rest was set for locals as was like rice soup and some veg. The rooms had a slightly damp smell and on occasions i had bugs coming out my sink. The downstairs toilet was minging and could do with a proper clean to remove all the cobwebs the true vision box didnt work and the internet was poor and would come and go. now for some of the better parts. the manager im guessing he was let me at least try and stream the football but as internet was intermittent that was a fail. The pool was ok with plenty of balls for the kids big and old to play with and he was accomodatting in letting you bring your own alcohol in around the pool table but not into the karaoke bar.

Would not recommend.

Just went here to eat some food. No one understood what we were saying. We had to write our food and drinks order down on a piece of paper and they got it wrong. They gave me a sandwich instead of burger and did not inform me before bringing it, so when the sandwich arrived I asked why they didn’t bring a burger and they said they didn’t have a bun or burger patty. I also ordered a fresh coconut and they brought me the worst, most fake coconut smoothie I have ever had. I would not recommend this place at all.

Read carefully before booking

I’m not usually one to leave reviews but feel I need to warn others.The hotel is located reasonably well, not far from the port but that is where the positives end unfortunately.
The hotel is run down and extremely dirty.
The first thing you will notice is the smell when you walk into the room.
The bathroom had build up of slime in corner of tiles, the towel rail was falling off the wall and so was the vanity.
To be fair when I pointed this out they did offer us another room which I had a look at and it was no different, they all smelt very musty and had been poorly cleaned. The general communal area of the hotel is very dirty as well.
There seemed to be staff standing around not doing anything when they could be cleaning the place up to try and attract tourists back.
Breakfast came with the room where they give you a picture of your choices and what you get won’t match what you choose, one pic shows bacon and what you get is processed triangle bits of ham.
Very difficult to communicate because no one speaks English very well.
We were talking to the lady at the front counter and she grabs her baby child and puts him on top of the counter and pulls off his full nappy in front of us, I couldn’t believe it.
The lady at the front counter didn’t seem to care too much when we told her of the issues and if you read other reviews that had similar problems she says the issues will be addressed but they haven’t been. There were no other people staying at the hotel, even though on Agoda it says it is the last room available.
I’m not sure how it’s got such a high rating on Agoda but don’t be fooled by that or the photos.
We ended up checking out early and going elsewhere. The lady wouldnt refund the money. Very disappointed and we wont be back
