Beautiful Location With a Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere

A great retreat for anyone, with stunning views and a real family vibe it left me wanting to come back immediately. Me and My girlfriend stopped here during our back packing around South East Asia and it provided such a relief from the hectic hubbub of Bangkok. Whilst the facilities aren’t luxury they give you a chance to reconnect with nature and are 100% sufficient. Our room and dorms were clean and the bedsheets and towels smelt fresh. We first stayed in the bamboo bungalow which was a really cool experience and the fan was more than enough to cool us down. We then stayed in the dorms which like most travellers would agree, aren’t always the most romantic but were comfortable and cool enough. I personally didn’t find them noisy either, the fans were quiet and the beds weren’t creaky which is the usual issue. I wasn’t expecting much from an “off the beaten track” hostel but they definitely raised my expectations. You will see animals, which should be expected from a hostel in the midst of nature, but the only ones that will cause you bother are the monkeys. As long as you don’t leave your things lying around you’ll be fine. We had no trouble. For the experience and views you are getting, I would pay 10x more than we did. The food is cooked on site and tastes delicious and trips are organised by the hostel for you. Andrej, Praw, and Brett were particularly kind and helpful and truly made our experience that little bit better.

A really special place with beautiful and tranquil atmosphere

This place is a very unique gem that you instantly fall in love with. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with a friendly atmosphere, I can highly recommend Bananas. I stayed at one of the double bungalows with AC and had a really comfortable week. The restaurant is open until 5pm and has a variety of tasty food cooked fresh on site.
The facilities are basic but you have everything you need and for a small fee they will also arrange for your washing to be done.
They staff are always available and extremely helpful and are very happy to give you advice and organise trips, entertainment (karaoke on Saturday night) and taxis.
I will definitely be coming back.

One of the most beautiful places on earth

This is one of the most beautiful places on earth! We've been here before and we'll definitely come back.
If you're looking for something quiet and peaceful surrounded by nature, this is the place to be. The stuff is friendly, the restaurant is really good and the pricing is low.
The Bungalows are simple but beautiful and clean!

Felt like home in paradise!

I had the most amazing stay at Banana Bungalows, honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they really made me feel at home the entire time. It’s rare to find somewhere where the people make such a big difference, but they truly do here.
The whole place has such a relaxed, peaceful vibe, perfect for switching off and just enjoying Krabi. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and you can tell there’s a lot of care put into the experience.
I’d recommend this place to anyone without hesitation and would absolutely stay again. Thank you for making my trip so special

Couldn’t recommend enough!

Amazing overall experience at Bananas Bungalows! Incredible views (best I’ve ever seen), impeccable location (right on the beach), and wonderful and kind staff. You really feel like you are apart of a family while staying here. I couldn’t recommend enough, we even extended our visit ( which I hear is common). As a young female traveler, I also felt very safe. Thank you Bananas!
