Simple stay, good for a night before the lake

We stayed here for one night before heading to our floating accommodation on Cheow Lan Lake. The place was adequate for a short stay — clean and comfortable enough for what we needed.
It’s quite secluded, so I’d definitely recommend renting a bike or scooter if you plan to explore or need access to shops, restaurants, or other amenities. For us, it worked fine as a quick stopover, but just something to keep in mind if you’re staying longer
Good for a one-night stay, especially if you’re passing through on the way to the lake

A very pleasant stay!

My wife and I spent only one night at Rai Eingpu in a standard double room. It was clean, comfortable with a good en-suite bathroom.
Good WiFi.
Breakfast was simple but adequate (coffee, eggs, toasts, jam).
And importantly, we enjoyed a very friendly welcome at the time of check-in; the staff is really nice!
The location is quiet, very close to the dam - perfect for us as we had our own car. Overall an enjoyable stay. Very good value - Highly recommended!

Good place

I first visit this place, our room is good all the areas is nice we just sat only one night will come back next time for sure this place is was not nearby restaurant or shop better to find something to eat and bring it yourself

AMAZING LITTLE FIND

An amazing little find, after a day exploring the area, came across this place set in beautiful surrounding with fantastic views.. had a great meal and a few too many beers so decided to stay...glad we did...very very clean, great food..the owner speaks basic English...and not forgetting the beer!! great stay.

Visit to Cheow Lan Lake

The hosts were very kind and helpful, but the room was very small. For the price it was quite fair, but the bed was rock hard (as are all beds in Thailand but this was by far the worst.) There were also tons if ants and other bugs in the room.
They were great about accommodating us with a bike, but it was quite expensive compared to any other place we traveled in Thailand.
The location was quite close to Cheow Lan Lake, which was our reason for going to this area. It was a gorgeous area, but besides the lake tours there really wasn't anything to do in the area. Also, the area is not a tourist area (besides the lake,) so very few people spoke any English. We ended up using Google translate to aide with the language barrier.
Overall, if you're a Western traveller, I wouldn't recommend staying here because you will be bored. Go to stay at the lake instead at the floating bungalows, or do a day trip from Khao Sok.
