One of the best hotels in Balatonfüred
The rooms are new and cozy with a fridge, air conditioner, and great lighting. The staff is professional, kind and helpful. The meals were great, we ate breakfast and dinner, both were delicious. The hotel was renewed, clean and tidy. Absolute favourite, highly recommended.

Not Good
I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, on booking the hotel it was £300 pounds, on checkout the extra charges come out, service charge, parking charge and local tax, so you end up paying close to double your original charge, breakfast and dinner resembles a school canteen, grab a table if you can, the food is a buffet the queues are long and the food is not replenished fast enough, extremely busy not enough tables, missing cutlery, so if you want to play the game of grabbing any table people have left without it being cleaned, hunting for cutlery, and finding for example for breakfast there are no eggs of any type because they have not been replenished this is the place for you, could be a lot better, i could organise it a lot better but i made a mistake of hoping the hotel managers could do the most simplest of things

Staff need to improve service, including the restaurant which is like a scrum at mealtimes!
Average hotel in a good location. Lovely well maintained , clean, nice grounds . Litter free and kept clean ( compared some to dirty , littered UK resorts)
Lake views, beautiful clean lake never too crowded.
Check in was tedious, very long process. You have to put a sign outside your room door to say you would like it cleaned !!! This should be standard. 2 days no cleaning as the signs were either ignored or turned backwards so staff could not see it. We had to go to reception and ask for a cleaner to come as no toilet rolls, clean towels, dead flies on the floor etc.
No English teabags in the room for drink facilities. No coffee either. We had to go to shops and buy milk and teabags . Not acceptable.
The restaurant is crowded and disorganised AND loud. Had to hunt for knives, forks and spoons, plates. Poor table cleaning , Big queues for drinks, no opportunity for wine or beer with evening meal either. No English teabags yet again. UK holiday makers are paying too, so why no English tea? NB We do not usually drink Earl Grey, it’s not regular for UK, it’s the Breakfast Tea , dark tea that we always generally drink. Apart from that the food was very good quality and good choice.
Getting drink at the bar in the evenings , absolute bedlam! Hardly any staff on duty and do not know bar tending service very well. Took 1 hour to receive a cocktail after the wrong one was served. Waiter just took wrong one back to bar and left it, didn’t arrange the correct one paid for!! One barman stands out though and deserves praise for excellent customer relations, that was Robert. Always smiling, calm and efficient, but he can’t serve 20 people at one time !
It was ok stay, enjoyed the resort itself, but would not stay here again .

Never ever come here
Worst hotel I have almost ever been in. Insanely expensive, the staff cant speak english, laundry costs 200+ euros. The staff don’t know what they are talking about, we asked them what laundry costs and they said 20 euros. Turns out the laundry actually costed 100 times more. The rooms were smaller than a Smurf. The meal descriptions were unclear, and the food was mediocre. I would never recommend this for anyone. So overpriced, bad service and small rooms.

I had a wonderful stay at Danubius Hotel Annabella in Balatonfüred. The location is absolutely beautiful—right on the lakefront and along the promenade, with easy access to shops, cafés, and restaurants. It truly doesn’t get better than this setting.
The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities made our stay especially enjoyable. The pools and saunas were fantastic, and having access to a private beach was a real highlight. The food was amazing at the hotel restaurant!
What stood out most was the exceptional service. A special thank you to the staff and manager, who were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with arranging an early check-in. Their kindness and professionalism made a great stay even better.
I will gladly return with my family and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Balatonfüred.
