Wonderful experience at Hotel Divinus
We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Divinus in Debrecen.
The hotel is beautifully maintained, and we were delighted to stay in a magnificent suite that was spacious, elegant, and exceptionally comfortable.
We also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, where every dish was excellent, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The breakfast was simply outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options.
The staff throughout the hotel were extraordinarily professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Every member of the team made us feel valued and ensured that our stay was perfect from beginning to end.
A very special mention goes to the General Manager, whose exceptional leadership is reflected in every aspect of the hotel. It is clear that he knows how to manage both his hotel and his team to the highest standards, creating an atmosphere of excellence and genuine hospitality.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would like to thank the entire team for making our visit such a memorable experience. We look forward to returning to Hotel Divinus in the future.

When we arrived at the room, the door lock showed a green light, indicating that the door was unlocked. My grandson simply pushed the door open, and the entire door came off its hinges. It appeared that only two or three screws were holding it in place. It was obvious that the door had already been damaged, and part of the locking mechanism was already broken.
I have stayed in many hotels around the world, and I have never experienced anything like this. Instead of apologizing for what appears to be a serious maintenance and safety issue, the hotel staff suggested that we might be responsible. When we checked out, they told us they would investigate the incident.
I believe this was a pre-existing problem with the door, not something caused by my grandson. He only pushed the door open after the lock indicated it was unlocked.

A Hotel that truly cares
Our experience at Hotel Divinus exceeded all our expectations. We travelled to Debrecen with a group of 34 guests from Spain, and every aspect of our stay was outstanding. From the warm welcome and excellent organization to the beautiful rooms and high-quality services, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine care.
What impressed us most was the dedication of the entire hotel team. Every member of the staff was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help, making our stay both comfortable and memorable.
As a Hungarian living in Spain, it meant a great deal to me to introduce my hometown to our Spanish guests. Thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Hotel Divinus, they left Debrecen with wonderful memories and a lasting impression of the warmth and kindness that Hungary is known for.

This is a lovely hotel in a scenic region next to the park and the University. The breakfast was superb and the staff were very friendly.

Very nice hotel with an amazing location , seconds away from Nagyerdei park . Decent breakfast with an egg station where you can order eggs cooked for you . The spa opens at 11 which is very late and I therefore couldn’t make the most of using it . You can get two tea bags and two coffee capsules for free and if you want more you have to pay which I have never seen before in a 5* hotel . There is no hair conditioner and for someone with long frizzy hair it’s a massive must , I asked reception if they had any and they said no . I would say that this should be a 4 not a 5* hotel but overall I enjoyed the stay . The bar area is very nice and Zoltan made some delicious cocktails with a very friendly setvice
