A true gem not to be missed

Thanks to a recommandation, stayed in this beautiful and family owned property during my stay in Pu Long.
My room - Cau - was just wonderfully charming, providing the right atmosphere in this serene region.
All meals were freshly prepared on site, delicious breafast and dinners (the chicken - to be ordered in advance - was amazing.
The staff was so accomodating and gracious as well.
Definitely one of the highlight of our trip in Vietnam!

Unforgettable stay at this beautiful homestay!

Hidden paradise in still reasonably quiet but fantastic area. The lodges are designed with great taste by the owner herself. You will be pampered and left alone at the same time. A nice combination. Super friendly people. Excellent food, something different from elsewhere. Thank you very much, Lua!!

A superb setting undoubtedly .... But

The setting is beautiful and the lodges original. The place is very quiet and relaxing. The food is excellent.
However, the lodge is not very practical (very nice stone bathroom but when you want to go to the toilet, the floor remains wet long enough, circuit breaker just in front of the shower and without protection, ...).
The staff is voluntary but their English is really limited. Thank you Google translate

Lua Pu Luong - A Hidden Gem!

My partner and I stayed at Lua Pu Luong in November 2023 and it was simply magical.
First, there’s Lua herself, the heart and soul of this establishment. Lua’s friendly and welcoming nature instantly made us feel like old friends. Being a local, she shared invaluable insights and recommendations for exploring the surrounding area. She recommended an incredible trek to a truly magical cave in the area (the “Bat cave”). What’s more, her personal journey and passion for Pu Luong’s beauty inspired the creation of this remarkable hotel. Lua’s dream is to share the natural wonders of Pu Luong with the world, and she’s doing it in the most incredible way.
And then there’s the staff — though with limited English, radiate warmth and hospitality.
The food is a delicious culinary adventure, but remember to order in advance for its unique, locally sourced flavors. They were also very accommodating of dietary restrictions: I’m vegan, my partner is not, and there was always something delicious for everyone!
As for our room… I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves but you can tell that Lua was very thoughtful in making you feel connected to nature with a touch of luxury. Truly one of the most unique and beautiful rooms I’ve stayed in.
Overall, what sets Lua Pu Luong apart are the stunning rice paddies that surround it. They provide an incredible backdrop to your stay, whether you’re dining, relaxing, or enjoying your poolside bungalow.
This is a true escape where nature meets genuine hospitality. Lua Pu Luong is a hidden paradise, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all seeking an authentic getaway.

Good choice for your 3-day holiday in the north of Vietnam

This is where you can find authentically local food and nice cups of capuchino at the same time. Nice host, helpful staff. Friendly environmental place. We really enjoy our vacation here. Enjoyable experience!
