Perfect stay with wonderfully helpful, friendly staff

What a stay! From the moment we walked in, everything was extremely perfect. The staff at Crowne Plaza Limassol were so helpful and efficient, always up for a chat, and they went out of their way to make things feel personal for us. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, La Brezza, and were looked after by a fantastic team, especially Elisabeth, Joram and Sheila. They really knew the menu inside out, gave us brilliant recommendations that we would never have picked ourselves, and kept an eye on us all evening without ever hovering. Honestly, meeting them was one of the highlights of the trip. The rooms were spotless, the location was handy for getting around, and we never once had to chase anyone for anything. All in all a wonderfull and very memorable visit, and we are already talking about when we can come back and do it all again.

Perfection

Wow! What an amazing stay. Everything was perfect. The team at the hotel were helpful, efficient, chatty and made everything personalised where possible. We ate at the hotel restaurant, La Brezza and were served by a wonderful team, in particular, Elisabeth, Joram and Sheila. They were inciteful about the food, made fantastic recommendations, were attentive and it was such a pleasure to meet them. Overall, a most memorable visit and one I would definitely love to do again.

A very old hotel that haven't been renovated in many years, both from the inside and outside.
Some very important notices:
1. Very old and not equipped bathroom and toilets. Very smelly toilets other is constantly in the air.
2. Level of cleaning in the room is very very poor.
3. Unpleasant pillows to say the least.
4. Mattress was very dirty and very old.
5. The corridors carpets are very old and have a smell coming out of them.
6. Front desk and lobby needs immediate attention in terms of the look.
7. The past few years prices were increased between 300 to 400% and in return as a customer, you don't get anything back in terms of Services and quality levels
8. The more experienced stuff is polite and attentive in a way.
9. In the past few years, the only thing that have changed is the bigger TV screen inside the room. With the rest everything just stayed the same as it was ages ago.

Excellent room and breakfast, relaxing pool, but mixed feelings on La Breeza

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room itself was fantastic—spotlessly clean and featured a super nice view. The breakfast experience was excellent as well. There was a wide variety of very good food to choose from, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we first arrived, we decided to have lunch at the La Breeza restaurant, which was a bit of a mixed experience. On the downside, the food felt very expensive, and the presentation was surprisingly poor for the main dish.pecially the ribeye. That being said, the actual flavors were excellent. The starters—specifically the octopus carpaccio and beef carpaccio—were delicious, and very well presentation, the mains tasted great too. In my opinion, it is just overpriced the 'main' for what you get on the plate. The crème brûlée, however, was a real standout and beautifully executed.
​The poolside is another area where this hotel truly shines. It was fantastic and not too noisy, making for a perfect, relaxing atmosphere. The poolside food was delicious and priced very fairly.
​Overall, despite the restaurant pricing, I really liked this hotel and I will certainly be coming back!

With all the IHG hotels I have visited around the world for work, this hotel should not be part of the group based on my experience!!!!

I spent a week at the Crowne Plaza in Limassol with my husband who is a Diamond Elite Plus member... I will start by saying that it was a terrible experience... breakfast was normal, nothing special considering the prices... room was small and old, not to mention the bathroom, which was unwatchable... I didn't sleep a wink for seven days, I slept on the beach... noises coming from below, above us, and from the sides... we asked for a room change, offering to pay, but despite my husband being a Diamond Elite Plus member, I was given a room that was the same or only slightly better, so I refused... the food was like a cheap boarding house and I won't say anything else... the cleaning staff was courteous, unlike the reception staff, whom I found very, very rude... I STRONGLY advise against this hotel, at this price there are better ones... for us it was a nightmare

The booking you made through the IHG App was for a Standard City View room. As a valued IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite member, we were pleased to recognize your loyalty, in several ways. Firstly, even though you stayed during our peak summer period, our team managed to upgrade your room from Standard to Premium Seaview Room with Balcony. Secondly, our reception team also pre-selected a room on the top floor for you. Finally, when you arrived at 1pm, two hours before our official check-in time, and requested immediate check-in, we accommodated your request by offering you an alternative Premium Seaview Room with Balcony we had immediately available on the second floor.
The following day when you requested a larger room, and our team showed you a Superior Room With Sea View Balcony, located on the first floor. However, you declined this option. Our three Suites were all booked during your stay so we really and truly could not offer you this option. We regret that none of the available options met your expectations.
One of the many benefits you have as a IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite member if you stay 40+ nights in IHG Hotels is 1 Confirmable Suite Upgrade. If you are specifically interested in a Suite Upgrade, I would recommend looking into this reward benefit, so you can use it on a future stay at any IHG Hotel.
As a valued IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite you also selected and received the FREE breakfast for two featuring live cooking station, as a welcome amenity. Please do reach out to let us know what you felt was missing from our breakfast buffet, so we can consider adding the items to the menu in future. We have tried to investigate your comments about the food more generally, but we were unable to trace any dining charges linked to your room. We were quite surprised to receive these comments since our hotel restaurants are currently top-rated on TripAdvisor, with our sushi bar currently ranked 1st in Limassol City. We take feedback seriously and would really appreciate further details regarding your dining experience so we can address any issues.
We really do aim to offer all our guests a 10/10 experience and regret that we did not succeed in your case.
