The best blace to relax

It is a traditional house at kathikas village. We visit it the last 8 years. It is the best place to relax. It is clean, quiet, with good temperatures during cyprus summer. There are some good tavern in the village for lunch like Fitos and Panais. You can use it for visiting Akamas, Avakas gorge, Lara beach with turtles, kritou tera waterfall, Afrodite baths etc.

Worst experience

Horrible experience nit clean outdated broken sofas dirty and smelly sheets not a place i would recommend to anyone…bad choice, we were mislead by some good reviews but i wonder is a nice garden o criteria to give a horrible place a good review???

Peaceful getaway

Gorgeous traditional Cypriot living in the small village of Kathikas.
Humble little apartment but comes with everything you need and more. So peaceful and quite. Just perfect for a little private getaway.
The manager Adva was fantastic and very hospitable. She was able to provide us some ingredients for breakfast and a very small fee, had coffee available and made sure we were comfortable and happy.
We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Lovely secluded getaway in the hills

We had a great 3 nights at Loxandra Inn. It's in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village, a short walk from several good restaurants and wineries. Our room was at the end of the courtyard in what used to be a stable, with a comfy bed, clean bathroom and cosy living area. It was so peaceful we didn't realise any other guests were staying there until we saw them leave! The manager lives nearby and was very friendly, even sharing a glass of wine when we arrived. Car parking was available, be sure to ask for directions if you have a big vehicle as the village has narrow streets!

Simple & Delightful

A very special place to stay, and particularly handy for visits to Akamas, Peyia and Polis if you have transport. The village itself is quiet and there are some nice eateries as well as a well-stocked supermarket and a couple of coffee bars. The accommodation is a stone built village house in a rural setting, full of character, which offers 3 independent 1 bedroom ground floor apartments and a first floor studio. The largest of the apartments, the one which we stayed in, also has an additional bed in the large living/dining area. The whole property is very well managed by a delightful and interesting couple who live just across the way, and who were extremely helpful to us during our stay, as well as being good company with a knowledge of the local area/amenities - all of which added to our enjoyment of our holiday. We are regular annual visitors to Cyprus and we would certainly recommend this accommodation
