A disappointment across the board! Never again!

A disappointment across the board:
We consciously chose this house because the price, exterior presentation, and expectations suggested a high-quality stay. Unfortunately, our impression on-site was exactly the opposite.
Even the journey there was unpleasant: Access information only arrived after repeated inquiries and very last minute. On-site, aside from the annex during breakfast, no staff was present. We had to gather important information ourselves.
We were neither welcomed nor accompanied.
The handling of e-mobility was for us the clearest expression of the entire stay:
For our electric vehicle, we were charged 20 € for parking per night plus a 50 € charging fee. This means: 70 € for one night with an electric car.
At this price, one expects charging infrastructure! What we found was: A parking garage with a single Schuko socket to which several extension cords were already connected, and after repeated inquiries, the statement that the charging cable was "hidden in the bushes" outside so that "not everyone charges." On a property with access code. Excuse me?!
This did not seem exclusive, modern, and above all, it did not feel like a service that justifies this price. In the end, we felt like we had paid for something that was not actually present in reality.
The suite itself continued this impression:
"Blackout curtains"? Not at all!
These are simple, sheer light curtains.
– The refrigerator is not cold, but warm, even hot → Beverages (including beer and Prosecco) had to be disposed of but were paid for! – The "cool" cabinet is massively dirty, see photo.
– Disgusting stains spread across the room floor, which we found unacceptable (blood).
– No fresh towels.
We also found the breakfast to be significantly below the level that can be expected at this price.
"Discount store goods" for €20 per person. Any guesthouse or hostel can do better than this!
What disappointed us the most, however, was the treatment of guests:
No greeting.
No inquiry. No follow-up. No checkout information. No "thank you," no "goodbye."
After our detailed complaint, we initially only received invoices. The contents were hardly addressed at all. No recognizable engagement with the points raised, no apology, no regret.
Our personal impression: Here, a claim is conveyed that, based on our experience on-site, was not fulfilled. We did not feel welcomed or valued –
but rather processed at the end.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place and it is definitely not a hotel we would book again.
Any "real" hotel in Leipzig can surely do better! Unfortunately, this realization comes too late for us!

Don't go if you have an alternative

The room is spacious, but the bathroom is small and the shower cannot be used without splashing water on the floor. There is no reception desks on weekends, and those who arrive at such times will have difficulty understanding the instructions for collecting the keys and receiving the room. Even when the staff is already there, at in the mornings and afternoons, later in the week their knowledge of English is limited and their willingness to help is low.The staff involved in maintaining and arranging the rooms and serving breakfast are pleasant, hardworking and eager to help. The location is quite remote for those who want to get to the center several times a day. The hotel is situated at a fairly noisy intersection, so there is noise during the night and early morning. The room is not sufficiently sealed from light, so those who are disturbed by this may wake up early in the morning.

Location suitable for the purpose of our trip. Breakfast at sister hotel was good.
We did not feel our room represented value for money. The people in room number 2 paid a similar amount but had more spacious accommodation.
On the second night our key cards did not work (and no, we hadn't kept them near to a phone) We were unable to access our room and the so called 24 hour help number went to voicemail. Essentially there was no help, despite the best efforts of German police who were on duty nearby. We spent the night in the corridor on chairs lent to us by someone in a nearby room. No access to bathroom facilities and no fresh water. Not great at any age, and definitely not when you're in your 70s
Very disappointing, to say the least.

Nice place but with problems.

It’s the second time we visit this hotel and we had a better experience the first time. Our room was comfortable and well equipped but not very large and the bathroom had a deficient shower drain causing an inundation in the bathroom when you shower. Not really tolerable in a otherwise quite upscale hotel. It is also good to know that the hotel is unattended on Sundays. Although the instructions for accessing our room were clear and worked well this is not the most welcoming arrival you can expect. Not sure we will return.

Teleurstelling qua service

Deze locatie werd ons aangeraden als een romantisch, kleinschalig boutique hotel met een leuke locatie in Leipzig…
Helaas bleek het een onpersoonlijke ervaring te worden: geen receptie, niemand gezien in het hele weekend. Een heel gedoe met sleutel lockers, codes, etc… Het ontbijt moet je gaan doen in een ander gastenverblijf verder op… dat ontbijt is matig qua kwaliteit…
De kamer en locatie is mooi, ligt in de buurt van het USA consulaat.
Teleurstellend was de hygiene: de vuilbakken van de vorige gasten waren niet geleegd, wat niet zulke prettige ervaring was…
Maar wat ons het meeste teleurstelde: we probeerden de receptie te bereiken via het opgegeven telefoonnummer en mail: geen reactie. Onze vraag: hoe uitchecken, is een latere checkout eventueel mogelijk, of kunnen wij voor de vertrekdag nog enkele uren onze baggage achterlaten in een veilige omgeving. Toen we maar geen antwoord kregen uiteindelijk via een website toch nog een ander telefoonnummer gevonden waar we iemand konden spreken: “sorry, dat is niet mogelijk, jullie moeten maar naar het station gaan en daar een locker huren”…
Niet echt de romantische en persoonlijke service waar wij op gehoopt hadden.
De prijs is stevig, maar dan verwacht je een top service…
Dit is eerder een onpersoonlijk apart-hotel of suite, geen romantisch boutique hotel!
