Das Dormavalencia Hostel ist eine 1-Sterne-Unterkunft in Valencia, rund 1,5 km von der Stadt der Künste und der Wissenschaften, 1,9 km vom Barrio del Carmen und 2,1 km vom L'Oceanogràfic entfernt. WLAN ist in allen Bereichen kostenfrei verfügbar.

Great surprise
Introduction: I was traveling alone with a 4-year-old child.
The hostel is very clean, and the rooms are modern and essential; I stayed for 4 nights, and every day I had clean towels.
They do not serve breakfast, but there is an excellent café just to the left when you exit.
Simple and quick self check-in.
The staff is very kind: in my room, there was a broken curtain, which was repaired immediately.
To leave the luggage on the last day after check-out, there is a locker at the reception.
We arrive at the location: the bus stop 32, which takes you both to the beach and to the city center, is very close!
For the Bioparc, I took the metro; I usually walked to the city center, and I walked to the oceanographic park.
Unfortunately, for the airport, the nearby metro line 5 stop is closed, but you can still reach Alameda on foot in 20 minutes, where you have both metro lines 5 and 3 to the airport (about 30 minutes).
Near the hotel, there are several restaurants: different types of cuisine and various budgets, if one obviously does not want to go to the city center.
Regarding the price: it was the cheapest when I booked, and since the location seemed strategic to me,
I booked it.
I personally recommend it!

Ideal place to rest in great comfort and enjoy the city of Valencia with the best value for money, great team of staff who care about quality in each stay is getting better each year. Very good experience year after year.

Unacceptable! - Thrown personal items without consent
Hostel and company really NOT SERIOUS and PROFESSIONAL!!! If you have a problem, CAUSED BY THEM, they wash their hands and you make do.
We stayed for 3 nights. After the first night, the next morning the cleaning ladies came to clean the room and THREW us a PERSONAL bag with our PERSONAL ITEMS. This bag wasn't even in the trash, but resting on the chair.
Staff response?? We have no solutions for this problem of yours.
This is how you treat customers: they forgive you and throw away your personal belongings and they are not even going to provide compensation for the DAMAGE CAUSED BY THEM.

Fortement déconseillé cet hôtel
English: Hello, I would not recommend this hotel for the following reasons: during the telephone reservation the agent told us that the hotel had parking! He lied to us, there is no private parking, dishonest of him. 2) he advised us to come before 1:00 p.m. to receive us = arrival at 12:30, door closing? Isn't there anyone at reception? I call on the phone, an agent tells me that I will be there in half an hour = 45 minutes later finally someone. I told him the 2 comments and he replied that it was not possible? my answer = I always reserve with parking and I did not make up this message on the phone. Observations for the room: - There is no ventilation in the bathroom, does it not exist? - Air conditioning/no maintenance, and the wrong type of device, impossible to use, - No clothes rack in the bathroom - The faucet in the sink = when? When you open it, it hits the accessory support window, so it doesn't open properly/it's impossible for cold water to get in. Room in good condition, modern bathroom. Fair price. Hotel totally not recommended.

Basic high price
Basic room with poor soundproofing, you could hear everything. Some damage, there was a broken lamp. The bed very comfortable. In the bathroom there are no shelves or anything to store toiletries and the shower did not work well, there was no way to open it. There is no staff to ask. Very well located to go to the City of Arts...and the center. High price for the room and the service.
